What the heck are you looking at? Al Calderon is a grown man! Jude is a 6 month old baby. And trust me, they look nothing alike.

I love green! I’m not bothered by the color, but to be honest, aside from a new sofa and curtains, it doesn’t look any different to me. Still looks like an old lady’s house. It’s like they were trying to introduce some farmhouse touches but mingled it with traditional and missed the mark on both. Just my opinion.

I personally think it was all just to set up the time capsule in the fireplace. I sure hope we’ll get a big payoff for that. Otherwise, I’m going to be really stumped as to why they had to have a fire. In reality, Julie could have updated the house without the fire. She did that several years ago with the Martin house where Will and Paul lived.

I don’t think that guy is going to play Dario. I heard he was supposed to be Leo’s new love interest.

I don’t know if there would be a made up Li, but I do not believe Li Shin is dead. Rolf was still in play when Li died. I have thought that Rolf saved Li like he did Will and so many others. They love bringing Rolf back always with someone from the dead. I did not realize Peter Porte was in the group photo, but I am curious as to what the plan is for his character, if he’ll be seen in December. I think that’s when the tribute to Doug and the milestone episode will air.

It doesn’t matter if Eric’s DNA was used or not, two people had DNA on file when testing Jude’s DNA. One was Sloan’s, because she feared Eric would be a match. The other was EJ’s because his was on file from the genetic testing he and Nicole had done when Nicole’s pregnancy was announced as high risk. When Nicole asked to have a test done to solve the who’s the daddy, she didn’t take EJ’s, Sloan volunteered to get Eric’s but then took her own. Jude’s DNA was compared against Sloan’s DNA—no match. When the genetic testing was done, it was conclusive that Embryo Jude was not a match to EJ, but Sloan took the results, pretending she was Nicole, and then altered them. Later, when Nicole swore Jude was her baby, they didn’t test Nicole’s DNA, they used EJ’s, which was on file. Again, it didn’t match to EJ so everyone concluded Jude wasn’t Nicole’s baby. You can twist things every which way, but the baby is Eric’s, not EJ’s.

Well said, @doolfan. I constantly feel like it’s arguing for argument’s sake.

It’s not an if. Carlivati has confirmed that he and his writing staff wrote the Eric discovers he is Jude’s bio dad. He was quite happy that he and his staff got to write that reveal.

As I read through your comment, @zodiacpisces1971, I now understand your thinking. Because you can’t accept it, you don’t believe it can happen. Gabi is being replaced. Her storyline left too many dangling chads. So we will see a new Gabi. I don’t know how successful she will be, but that’s left to be seen. And Alex should NEVER stay Victor’s son. No one bought that story from the get go.

They recycle storylines all the time. Sloan stealing Nicole’s baby and then saying the baby is dead. Is that not similar to Nicole stealing Sydney from Sami or Xander stealing Rachel and telling Kristin her baby died. Then we have the overwhelming amounts of who’s the daddy storylines coupled with DNA switch storylines. Not only are stories repeated on Days with different characters, but they are repeated throughout all of the soap opera world. Bobby/Everett’s DID could be compared to any other character with DID on any other soap. And in all seriousness, we don’t have a story of Bobby/Everett being raped in prison or anywhere for that matter, so how you have made the leap from Nick to Bobby/Everett just doesn’t make sense.

I find it nearly impossible to grasp your clear as mud logic.

You obviously don’t get what I”m saying. It’s a soap opera! No one has to have been conceived in the writers minds 30 years ago or more in order to be on the screen today. And they’ve never said the Nick’s history influences Bobby/Everett. You made that leap all on your own.

Why can’t Bobby/Everett have had his own trauma? It doesn’t have to have anything to do with Nick Fallon. I think it’s a stretch to think that. I think the problem you’re having is that you are maintaining that Nick and Bobby are one and the same. Roman is not Chris Kozichek, Alex is not Ben Weston, and Teresa isn’t Gwen. Bobby/Everett isn’t Nick. All characters have a back story, why couldn’t he have been abused before the character was conceived? It’s not real time. Ben and Jordan were abused as children, they played that storyline up and the abuse took place before the characters appeared or were conceived on the show. All characters have a back story. It gets filled in little by little as the character is developed.

How would Everett or Bobby have Nick’s memories, if they are not Nick. And Julie, when she first met Everett, said he reminded her of her cousin Nick, not he looked just like Nick. I really like the theory that Everett/Bobby is a twin of Nick’s that was given up for adoption.

When did they ever say Bobby’s prints were on one hand and Everett’s on the other. They only said the prints belonged to Bobby Stein. Maybe, the only person on record to get fingerprinted was Bobby Stein. It is not common for everyone to be fingerprinted. I know until the mid 2000s, even public schools did not require fingerprints to work in them and neither did most other places. I’m pretty sure you don’t have to be fingerprinted to be a reporter. My guess is Bobby Stein must have done something illegal and was arrested and fingerprinted. Everett, did not commit a crime and therefore no fingerprints on record. My biggest issue with this is that Everett was in a coma after being hit by a car. No one knew who he was. Why did the hospital not try to find out who he was with fingerprints? If Everett was a big shot reporter, why didn’t his employer report him as missing? Personally, I think this all goes back to the shoddy writing during the writers’ strike. I think there is going to be some fast and furious re-writing going on so that they can finally link Everett to the Hortons, which has been rumored since he appeared on the show. BUT, he is not Nick Fallon.

It does work, if Bobby Stein is the real person and Everett Lynch is the alter.

Gabi didn’t kill Li. I think you’d have a better suspect in Ava. She killed Gil after Li was murdered. Who’s to say she didn’t have the book the whole time and then put Li’s blood on it along with Gil’s fingerprint, afterward. I still don’t think that’s the case, but I also don’t think it’s going to be so easy as Gil killed Li. And for all we know, Li isn’t really dead. Maybe Dr. Rolf “killed” him, only to bring him back to life in the future. This is Days. Unless someone dies i real life, they usually aren’t permanently dead.
