I’m just thrilled that they brought back these fine actors from the past! My hope is that they will continue with this trend and bring back these past characters with a new story every once in a while. And getting back to the post,I think the audience has changed over the years along with technology…..we were suprised years ago with the plot twists and turns,also….a mere shoplifting story would keep us interested in what would become of the character’s reputation!
NOW…we see people kill & be killed just to come back a few months later, or be exorcised to overcome their demons! I’m sure it’s hard to top some of these stories…but, maybe if the writters just get back to realistic storytelling with characters that we have an invested interest in, they can turn it around.I hope the writters take advantage of some of these returning actors for future SL’s!!!! This is such a hit with the fans surely they can ask them back for a short story now & then!!! I love mixing the old with the new! Please writters continue!!!!
Oh yes, I agree! He’s a good recast for Bill! I’m glad they included that character. …but why omit Tommy????
Oh, I do agree about the character of Lucas being rather weak….but I thought it worked with Sami’s character, and they had so much history together. Plus Lucas and her were so close they plotted and planned together and knew each other’s personality so well! As Lucas matured (sort of) he was trying to help Sami be a better person for their son. Rafe, on the other hand …is simular to Austin, ( Sami’s ideal) and frankly to me that story played out. I don’t buy Sami’s character EVER changing to be straight foward honest enough to be in a trustworthy everlasting relationship with Rafe…. But, then it’s a soap, sooooo who’s everlasting? I don’t know…I just saw Rafe with a younger version of a Jennifer type…that’s all.
I don’t get it? Rafe is a third wheel in this mess! She’s had four kids, two by Lucas and two by EJ, so why is it now that Rafe is the love of her life??? YES! he deserves better! I see her always going back between Lucas & EJ. How many more lives can she ruin???She will never messure up and be the kind of person deserving of Rafe!!!
I’m a bit behind on the show…but I read in Soap opera that Stephanie confides in Adrianne, and Stephanie realizes what she’s doing is unfair and is remorseful about it. Adrianne suggests she take this pill to prevent pregnancy, BUT if she’s already pregnant it will not harm the fetus.
And about Caroline "allowing" what goes on behind closed doors….I think she just gives each their own privacy.
This is somewhere in South America,( where Anna was hiding in a remote area) but also where Caliope ended up and Rafe finding them there.
I just don’t want to see a pairing of Carly with Daniel!!! I like Chloe & Daniel, and hope that they can work thru this situation. If Carly’s involved fine…but just as a friend. I think Bo & Hope will find their way back to one another…especially now that a crisis has happened with Hope. Bo will be forced to face his feelings for Hope, and realize what this has done to his family. Maybe….Carly will find love with Justin or a new Doctor that comes to town…..OR maybe Lawrence ISN"T dead after all….& it’s a evil plan to drive her crazy!
