is anything but laughable; it is intolerable. Carlivati has destroyed any hope I may have tried to drum up that I could get back to loving DOOL. Maybe I’ll check in one day and read that he’s been fired. Obviously, someone in command pays no aggention to the message boards for Days of Our Lives comments. It is beyond disgust for everything from the storylines to the acting. So Sad!
I honestly believe this soap has no chance of redemption as long as Carlivati remains as head-writer. The man lives in his own mind, and there’s no room for improvement. I fast forward through most of DOOL on a DAILY basis. I am so disappointed in what this so-called "writer" has done to this beloved soap. There is not one storyline that holds my interest. Force of habit keeps me tuning in, but not much longer if things don’t improve soon.
has always been loud and annoying, to the point of interfering with dialogue, and God knows people have complained about it for eons, which obviously does no good, because it’s the same, day in and day out. Very annoying!!!
is not meant that Sami kills Charlie, but I do believe the murder victim to be Charlie and not Tripp. At least I hope that’s how it plays out. I think Sami will definitely have a confrontation with Tripp, perhaps even a violent one, believing he raped Ally, but I hope she’s not going to murder him. I’m hoping the story is along the lines of either Ava or Angelo being the murderer. I would love to see her and Ava go at it though.
Ravens lose???? Don’t know what happened, but this is becoming a jinx to the Ravens….can’t get past that first playoffs win….down, again, until next year. Sad outcome, but still my team!!! Congrats to the Pack and to the Bills. Hope one of them takes it all the way.
I’m pretty happy with the way the Ravens have been playing. I’m still wondering if Lamar can break his curse of one and done. So far we’re off to a great start with out win over the Titans; now if we can just keep it going! We’ll find out this weekend when we play the Bills. Should be a great game!
I picked Aaron Rogers and the Packers to be in the final run for the Superbowl, and still do. Just not sure who my pick will be for the final game yet. Good luck to you as well. Where is casey, by the way?
are a bigger farce than Kate and Rafe. Enough of the cougar sls for Kate. She needs to set those claws out for Roman if she must have a man.
I despise Chad’s and Abby’s the most. I pretty much fast forwad, and him getting drunk and sleeping with that crazy loon Gwen just about did him in for me. I can’t wait for Gwen’s story to be unleashed, which appears to finally be taking place, and at that point, I hope we’ll be saying goodbye once again to Chad and Abigail. Incidentally, I do not approve of Nu-Jen and hope Missy decides to return. Can’t quite put my finger on it, but something about the actress just does not sit well with me, and I agree, she does not appear to me to fit with Jack, especially in the romance department. JMO!
That and Charlie’s being discovered as Henry’s father, although I think Ava will expose that little secret, that is if she escapes Charlie’s jealous wrath. Poor Claire…. will she ever find that perfect love, or has her karma decided that she is getting what she deserves?
I thought Anna was immediately suspicious of Gwen, who she was, where she came from, what was she doing at the mansion. Anna has always been suspicious of someone’s character, especially where the DiMeras are concerned. I certainly think she might just be the one to expose Gwen for what she is as well as what it has to do with Chad and Abigail. Personally, I can’t wait for Gwen to be gone!
but for me there is nothing funny about what this writing staff has done to DOOL. It is absolutely, for me anyway, a disgrace to the world of soaps. I went from being glued to my tv from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, to sporadic watching, and no matter the day or time I do tune in, I find myself fast-forwarding more than watching. I used to get fiercely upset over interruptions where shows are not on for one reason or another. Now I just change the channel and welcome a return to reality. I cannot believe these once revered actors appear to be ‘phoning it in’ because their storylines are so damn ridiculous and, frankly, I don’t know how much longer it’s going to last (or I will) before the network finally decides to pull it.
There are so many complaints about the show on ALL soap message boards, Carlivati is grabbing at straws to get what he believes will make DOOL interesting again. IMO…."It’s NOT working!"
