barring any severe injury, I think he’s our future, for sure.  He’s going to be like fine wine….he’ll get better and better with experience and age.  I’m still a huge fan of Joe Flacco, and whether he comes back this week or we stay with Lamar, I think a must win is expectated for the Ravens, from top to bottom.  I’m completely satisfied with keeping Lamar at the helm for now.  After all, "if it ain’t broke….don’t fix it".  We’re still in the hunt, so I’m very happy about that, but the real test relies on how we handle the Chiefs and the Chargers (Gulp!)  GO RAVENS!!!!

until I heard him (Will) tell Marlena that Victor wouldn’t tell him where Sonny was and called Will a "pathetic waffler."  LOL!  Truth hurts, doesn’t it Will?

As for Christoper Sean, I will really miss him on DOOL and hope he returns some day….not for Will, but for John.  Really good scenes between them yesterday.

I would absolutely love to see Christopher return to the sinister role of Gabriel Waincroft on Hawaii 5-0.  I know he was supposed to die, but if they can write back from the dead sls on soaps, they can write them on any show.  He was so great in that role.

since everyone we needed to lose did exactly that on Sunday.  The Ravens now have taken over the 6th spot in possibilities for going to the playoffs.  I’m not getting them up too high though.  I still am a great believer of "any given Sunday".  I feel like no matter how bad a team looks from one week to the next, they are still professionals when they go out there on game day, so I’m not ready to give up yet.  The only thing we have to worry about right now is getting a win over the Raiders, who did manage to win on Sunday, so just because they’re now 2 and 8, it proves my point about week to week play.

As far as Lamar Jackson’s rookie performance, I think the whole team was as happy with his first win as the fans.  I know John Harbaugh could not stop tooting his praises for the young man.  As for me, I’m just happy to know we have three able QB’s ready to step into action when called on.  We are very fortunate to still have that in the case of an injury, while lots of teams are not.  The thing I love most about Lamar is his ability to scramble to get out of tough situations and still get the play off.  He’s quite a talented young man in that department.  His athleticism is off the charts, and once he finds a hole, the only place he’s going to be looking is behind him.

Unless Joe’s injury is more severe than has been reported, I look for him to be back in action in another week or two.

true, Camila is doing an excellent job with the character, but it doesn’t stop me from hating on her.  I feel the same way about the character of Claire.  I don’t even like to think about what I could do to that girl!  LOL!  By the way, it is somewhat disturbing to me how many evil women there are on this show.

and it bears repeating once again.  NO storyline should last longer than three or four months, or from one sweeps to the next.  In other words, sweeps are when story lines should either be resolved or at least be somewhere close to resolving, but the cast of DOOL is so large, that this is practically impossible to do.  So why keep bringing these old characters back?  The only return I am anxiously awaiting is Jack Devereaux.  Core characters and family stories are the ones I care about.  So I blame the headwriter(s), because he or she controls where these stories go and how long they go, but too much of anything for too long will not keep fans happy…..at least not this one.

she is a true professional and delivers her lines and expressions effortlessly, even when she was plagued by her altars.  I don’t mind seeing Kate Mansi back, even if it will be short term (which I read on another board), but Billy Flynn has regressed in his craft, in my opinion.  I have to chalk it up to the storyline, I suppose, so the sooner this fiasco ends, the better.  It’s no wonder solid actors are deciding to leave.  Best if luck to Marci Miller, Sean Christopher (Paul) and Tyler Christopher (Stefan).

as soon as Kate walked out to take the call from Gabi and then Abigail picked up that teacup, I knew right then and there she was going to pull the old bait and switch and, thankfully, it worked like a charm.  NOW TAKE THE DAMN CUP TO GET IT TESTED FOR DRUG RESIDUE AND STOP ALL THIS CRAP ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!!!!  Well, that or get new writers!  UGH!

but if it’s one thing I’m sure of where the Ravens are concerned, it’s that it’s time for change, beginning at the top.  No more made up excuses for bad play calling, execution, or whatever other reasons are given for our last three losses, or who takes the blame for the team’s performance.  I’m finding that excuses from those at the top are blatently recognizable now and, therefore, first on my list to take that walk of shame.   We are halfway through the season, so I’m hoping change is coming, and soon.

the take on Rosemary’s Baby was too funny!  Now that’s the way a soap opera should be written for HALLOWEEN!!

when I turned on Good Morning Football, scratched my head and asked myself…. "WHAT DA’ HELL HAPPENED????"  I’m forced to agree now with the sports critics who say "perhaps the Ravens are just another 500 team afterall" and it breaks my heart.  If a player or two looks bad, or a coach calls a play that goes to hell in a handbasket, or even if somebody on your special teams isn’t doing his job, or the penalties are relentless, whether they’re deserved or not, then I can excuse it and move on; but, when your entire team takes a spanking like the Ravens got from a rock solid performance by the Panthers yesterday, I have to wonder if we, the Ravens fans, are just kidding ourselves.  I sure hope not.  Some heads should seriously roll this week before we get the same punishment from the Steelers next week.

Hope gets on my last nerve to begin with; I certainly did not want her returning as PG.

from his stuttering and stammering through his lines up to and including his refusal to see the light where both Gabi and Kate are concerned, and now it seems as though J.J. and Jennifer have found the vat of kool-aid and helped themselves to it as well.  It sounds so silly to say "I hate" a character, but I honestly wish half the people in this storyline would be killed off.

Speaking of people who need to be gone, as I watched yesterday I was thinking how much more interesting this sl would be if the the person with the personality disorder was Stefan instead of Abigail, and he killed the real Gabi because Abby’s altar told him in his dream yesterday that if she is sent away, she would be taken away from him.  Wishful thinking, but more interesting for me.

    we needed one; the old one was getting too crowded;

Heavy hearted today, but nowhere near, I’m sure, as much as Justin Tucker.   First EVER missed PAT.  I know at some point it had to happen, but it hurts when it does.  Justin blames himself for the loss, even though there’s no guarantee we would have won in OT; but, I get his point, at least we would have had the chance to win it.

Sorry for the losses suffered by the Jags and the Bills as well.  Fortunately, we didn’t lose ground in our division, with the fabulous Kansas City Chiefs crushing the Bengals, the Browns losing by a field goal, and the Steelers in their bye week.

At this point all I can say is "better luck next week!"
