for that very reason. I hope they don’t write her replacement that way. And on another note, I wish these actors would learn how to act better than they do. Camila Banus was horrible in her scenes when she was attacked, and honestly, I never realized what a bad actress Dee Hall was until lately. I really feel embarrassed for her squeeling laughter every time she sees John. People used to say he was the bad actor, but she can be just as bad at times. As a matter of fact, I don’t know what’s happening to soaps, but DOOL is not the only one producing bad acting.
She put herself in that predicament when she decided to give into Mateo’s threat, and I can understand her doing that if, in fact, that she was thinking only of protecting Brady and Tate, but knowing how Theresa truly is, I am now finding it hard to believe that was behind her leaving, and her return was more about getting Victor’s protection when she got back to Salem. Getting away from Mateo was only part of it. I really thought I was going to like Theresa and Brady reuniting; now, not so much….actually, not at all. She is still the same selfish, hateful little skank she was when she first came to Salem, and I truly hope Brady finds out the truth today (because he really cares about Cloe), and throws Theresa to the curb, in the gutter preferably, which is where she belongs. She belongs with Xander; they’re two peas in a pod!
on Y&R; the character of Leo is absolutely horrible. Ugh! But I do think the actor, Greg Rikkart (sp?) is playing his role well on DOOL. A real scumbag!
Eve and Brady as well as Jennifer and Eric. Both of these women look too old for their present match-ups, especially Eve and Brady. I’m not particularly crazy about Theresa, but she’s a much better match for Brady than Eve. And Eric and Jennifer ….. please ….. just say NO!
and PLEASE writers, have the guts to take Kate down forever. What the hell good is she anyway? I’m sick of her!!!
Thanks dval. The article I read on my phone said she was or had the lead, so I figured that’s why she quit; but maybe she’s just part of the cast. Either way, I’d watch it when it comes out. She’s a very good actress, IMO. I love those kind of stories anyway. Right now I’m reading Woman of God by James Patterson, co-written with Maxine Paetro, and it’s right up my alley; religion, the Church, the heartfelt hardships of the African people and the docs and nurses who do their best to take care of them throughout the civil war they can’t get away from in the Sudan in Africa…. and the determination of one immensely brave young woman …. just a super read!!!
probably because she just got the lead in a new show about doctors without borders, or something like that. I think she finishes taping this week, which means she’ll still be on air until at least mid to late October if they’re still filming 5 months ahead of air-time. Marci did a fantastic job while she was here, but I have to admit I was surprised to read that Kate was coming back. Guess the work out there isn’t what she expected it to be when she left, and one can only watch so many Lifetime movies before they all begin to look alike.
I think that’s the first time Chad ever beat anyone up as well. Ben used to kick his butt all the time and Chad never could get the best of him. He sure did a number on Stefan though, so good for Chad.

I, too, laughed out loud at that line. Love when Vivian and Kate or Vivian and Victor go at it. Actually, Vivian was the only one I enjoyed watching in those captivity scenes! She’s a hoot!!!
which identified Abigail was the one (I thought) that Hope just got Shawn to look into finding, because didn’t Rafe say the hotel employee said there was only one camera and there was nothing revealing the dark haired woman (and Rafe also said Stefan probably paid him off). I don’t know, I just seem to recall something to that effect. Sorry for the double post!
