with the set recycling going on; I see it on all 4 of the soaps today. Tells me the networks just are not interested in expending or investing in a dying genre. Too bad!!!
knowing that Joe had already passed, but on the other hand, it was wonderful to see him on screen in those last few precious moments of his life, before his fans, in the flesh, alive although obviously not so well. Rest in peace, Joe. You truly are and always will be a legend in the industry, and know in your soul, as I do in mine, that they may RECAST Stefano DiMera one day, but they will NEVER REPLACE Joe Mascolo.
was Sonny told them he had to go with them because the tickets were in his name and they got their invitations as his "guest", so how did a nobody from Salem even get himself invited to a Masked Ball in Prague? I figured he just held onto his own ticket. Crazy writing, but then that’s Dena for you!
as Charles Shaughnessey, IMO! Whose brilliant idea was it for him to split-role the characters of Shane and Drew? Whoever that was should be given a swift kick by both of the above actors. Jen managed to be a little bit funny in the role, but Drew looked like the madman he was perceived to be. This part of the Orwell sl was bad; I am, however, pleased with Vincent Irizarry, because this Deimos is who he is, and who he should have been all along, and his eventual demise (if that is what’s planned for Deimos), will be welcoming. Watching him yesterday with everyone he came in contact with showed me what a true soap villain should be, and VI was most convincing in portraying that.

it wouldn’t surprise me if she ran off with this kid at some point. She’s not giving up this baby now that she’s nursing her, whether Deimos is in the picture or not! She better watch her back where he’s concerned. She may wind up losing both Holly and Parker, since they are both Daniel’s bio-kids.
The only difference I can see is that A-r-e-m-i-d is simply DiMera spelled backards, whereas Meradi is closer to an anagram; just the first two letters (d-i) were placed at the end of the name.
He died in December, so obviously this final scene on, I believe, February 9th, will be shown a full two months ater his death. RIP Joe.
Hope they never even try to replace you with a recast. Some icons simply cannot be replaced.The final selection is limited to one scene, but they can select more than one scene to submit for nomination.
