because the actress just doesn’t do it for me; she doesn’t look like Abby, she doesn’t come across like Abby, she doesn’t sound like Abby, and she certainly DOESN’T have any on-screen chemistry with Billy Flynn either.  He is just so damn good and she’s just ‘okay’ for me.  Big disappointment in the part of Abby for me.  Marci Miller is just an attractive face, but nowhere NEAR Kate Mansi, who now seems to have spoiled the role for anyone who dares to try and top her.  I think MM is just trying too hard to be someone she’s not.  Top that with lousy writing and I can see where some, including me, would rather see Chad with Gabi right now.

Congrats to the Pack and AR still one of the best QBs in the game.  Would love to see them go all the way!

and definitely against the Colts!  We hold long grudges in Charm City (as I’m sure they still do in Cleveleand).  LOL!

huge defensive disappointment for the Ravens with a minute and 18 seconds on the clock to allow them to score the winning touchdown.  Le’Veon Bell, unfortunately, could not be contained.  Oh, well, like they say, "there’s always next year"!  LOL!

although he did say "ILU" to Gabi at lightening speed, and she said it right back to him.  That, IMO, was just as ridiculous as Abigail’s hiding the truth, even though neither of them would have continued their relationship if she had come out and revealed herself sooner.  Still, I’m not convinced that this will go smoothly all around.  There’s bound to be even more turmoil ahead before it all ceases.  All we need is for Lani to be pregnant to compound the angst!  I mean, she did turn down an alcoholic drink at the Horton’s christmas tree ball hanging.  Jaust Sayin’ so NO, please don’t writers!  Don’t go there!!!  LOL!

if that’s the best they can do for supposedly depicting a "newborn".  That baby looked like a 3 to 6 month old (LMAO).  Ridiculous!  Guess there is some sort of law about how old an infant can actually be, or maybe actual "newborns" are just not signed up to on "Star Kids" that fast, but can’t they at least find a smaller baby for this purpose?  I remember when petite Jen Lilly used to walk around with that beautiful but huge baby who portrayed Tate as an infant.  Jokes were made all over the boards about it every time she picked up that child.

because that girl just could not act, and she was certainly in the role long enough to have learned something.  There was a new actress hired, but I think she is replacing Paige Searcy (Jade).  I’m sure Vivian is a lovely young woman, but acting was definitely not her forte.

that white-out storm sure came up fast, and perhaps, because it’s Chicago, the streets and roads are impassable within, oh, I don’t know, 5 minutes.  I think I saw one snowflake fly off Nicole’s coat when they entered that room.  LOL!  But, the place they went to where Nichol had to pick the lock was a completely unexplained mystery.  This is the kind of stuff that makes me believe some scene was cut from the original taping, and that is unacceptable to me.  Hell, at least explain where you are and why you picked that place, especially when they were just leaving what I was led to believe to be a very popular restaurant.  Guess what I’m saying here is if the writers don’t screw it up, we can always count on the editing to do so!  smdh!!!

Aaron’s not ready to give in or give up, and he’s proving it every week.  Same with the Bills, casey.  We’re all in the hunt, and I do enjoy that.  Huge week coming up!

and my sons’ families are not going to be thrilled when the game comes on Christmas Day; but it’s something they’ve already resigned themselves to, although they are worrying about the Steelers ruining all of our Christmas spirit.  Down to the last two games and, of course, it has to be with two teams in our own division. Who makes these schedules, anyway?  LOL!  These playoffs are wide open though, aren’t they?

and although there are times when I do miss our adversarial head-butting, I can honestly say I know how it feels when pain deprives you from enjoying an activity you were once so interested in.  I can only continue to pray for you and for your pain to diminish to where one day soon you will be able to rejoin the board discussions, but you have to feel like watching again first.  Seems Higley and Quan are not making that easy for any of us these days.

Glad to hear you are getting some assistance.  Stay faithful and strong, and I sincerely wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and much HEALTHIER New Year!!!

and I know this won’t be a popular opinino (LOL). I’ve already made up my mind about her, and when I say ‘her’ I mean the actress as well as the character of Abigail Devereaux, whom I admit I have never admired.   First of all, the character is on my very last nerve.  Sorry, but I’m ready for her to leave Salem.  Her weak, whiny, and stupid decision-making has me screaming for her to "get off my screen, pack her bags, and get the hell out of Salem."  As for the actress, again sorry, but Marci Miller is a pretty enough young woman, and fair to good when you compare her to some newbies; but, IMHO, SHE’S NO KATE MANSI.  Lately her acting is practically OTT in some of her scenes.  Sorry, but right now I’d rather see Chad with Gabi, although I realize that’s probably not going to happen.

it’s practically impossible to stay interested.  Next week should be a little better, but it’s time for someone to wake up and smell the coffee.  The writers have not improved the show that much, so unless we have something to get excited about, DOOL will never climb out of last place in the ratings.  Here’s another hint…. ease up on the flashbacks.  Seems like we’re getting way too many and they’re way too long!  JMO!

We just had to have more angst and conflict for Steve and Kayla, right?  And just wait until Kayla and Steve’s baby boy meets and greets with Ava and Steve’s baby boy, who will obviously hate one another once he finds out his brother killed his mother, not to mention, they are now going to have their own baby.  (whew)  Oh, yeah, can’t wait for this one.  So how many are looking forward to all hell breaking loose just in time for daddy and step-mommie’s Valentine’s Day wedding.  Really, writers?????

including Rex Ryan, the Bills head coach.  Jeff Fisher just got fired, and even someone who has been a superlative head coach, in my opinion, has been Cincinnati’s head coach, who was at one time our DC, Marvin Lewis, is looking at job security if Cincinnati loses these last 3 games.  Well, I got a bit of good news today when I read that our simply horrific punt returner, Devin Hester, has been put on waivers.  Good riddance to that one.  He was a huge part of our loss to the Pats this week, and has never been a successful punt returner for the Ravens.  Hoping we get a healthy Michael Camparano back to fill that spot.
