you should read some of the posts on other boards.  For me, personally, I have always hated the character of E.J. DiMera, ever since the day he returned to Salem SORASED to suddenly be older than Sami Brady.  However, I will say that James Scott pulled off the villain everybody loved to hate with perfection, mainly because he is so good-looking.  However, that being said, he’s now becoming a laughing stock to many because of his obsession with Sami and the fact that the writers have ‘dumbed him down’ to such a degree as he comes off more pathetic than villainous.  He’s certainly not the E.J. Wells-DiMera we saw in the past.  He’s been turned into a wuss where Sami is concerned.  So what happens when Stefano will put a hit on Sami — E.J. will tell him she is in no way to be harmed.  She shot you in the head while you were in a drunken stuper, you idiot — GET OVER IT AND MOVE ON.  File for shared custody, pick up your marbles, and go home.  You made a huge mistake when you outed Nicole.  Now, she’s going to blackmail you …. again.

but there’s no way in the world she would be given a "universal access code" to open patient files.  Ridiculous, writers.

however, I agree about giving the vets a good story line instead of continuously delegating them to be built-in babysitters.  I just wish they would have given Caroline a different story-line instead of this one.  I was hoping that they would have made Caroline the driver of the car that hit Arianna, or possibly the one who really shot E.J.  Now either of those story lines I could have believed, but not this one.

it is definitely time for Bristol to leave.  There just is no change or development to her.  She’s still stiff as a board, and looks like she’s scared to death.  Even Mark has to remind her to smile.  There isn’t one contestant from last night’s competition that should go instead of her tonight, and if they do, I’m sorry, but this show has become nothing more than a popularity contest, just like American Idol.  Time to stop the nonsense and send the right people home.  There is absolutely no way on earth that Audrina should have gone home last week.  I was so saddened by her dismissal.  Good luck Bristol, but you have to see it for yourself if you want to be honest.  If not, read some internet boards and the truth should set you free.

give Caroline a brain tumor.  That’s the only logical explanation for this beloved character to change so radically and become such a biotch!  She was off the charts yesterday.  I thought she was going to burst into flames at any moment.  I wish Kayla wasn’t leaving, because neither her lunatic mother nor her dysfunctional, insecure daughter are going to speak up and tell the truth.  The writers have been slowly dismembering the real Caroline Brady over the past several months and replacing her with this pod-woman we see before us now.

Victor or Stefano.  She certainly has chemistry with both of them.  I think those were supposed to be maggots crawling on Vivian.  Ewwwww ….

to tend to an "ailing" Steve.  No word on if or when she will be back.  Maybe they will decide to kill Steve off, now that the actor is in a contract role on Y&R.

she did it for more than one reason.  First, and foremost, she did it to spite Victor because of her jealousy of him marring Vivian.  Also, she regrets telling Victor the truth about him being Bo’s bio-dad, plus she doesn’t think the Kiriakases are a good group people.  Philip certainly in the past hasn’t been, so Caroline doesn’t think much of him.  Kayla and Steve were willing to adopt Pocket, but Philip agreed to give the baby away to strangers instead, so she has no respect for him as a father.  Finally, she did it to secure Stephanie’s future.  She felt so pressured by Stephanie, who never let up about losing Nathan, that she thought she would ‘take care of everything by clearing the way for Stephanie and keep Melanie out of the circle.’  Also, she has no intention of coming clean, and neither will Stephanie when she finds out about it, even though she promises Kayla that she will make it right.  They (Carolina and Stephanie) are both willing and determined to do whatever it takes to keep the true paternity of Chloe’s baby a secret.   (This is an excerpt from the November 9th issue of SOD)

is Stefano’s henchman.  Last week Stefano learned that the guy he sent to trail Arianna called and said he lost her, so he could possibly be the one who ran her down but wouldn’t want to admit it for fear of his own life from the wrath of the DiMeras, so he just kept on going.  Just my speculation.

I was beginning to think she might have wandered upstairs and we would never see her again.  She needs to be included in more story lines, IMHO.

is all the doom and gloom these writers insist on providing us with.  There’s no fun, no romance, no family gatherings … everything is best described as dark story lines with no light in sight.  Too bad, cuz every other soap I watch had wonderful Halloween sets and talented writers who still managed to make the holiday inclusive in its current story lines.  Shame on you people.  How much would it have cost to at least have some of the houses or even the Pub decorated?  Woe is me, what a bunch of cheapskates.

who would be married or engaged to Nathan by then …. Mel or Stephanie. I’m sure the role of the Horton matriarch will be taken over by Maggie.
