but I must admit, Abigail is getting on my damn nerves. Still can’t stand her, no matter who plays Abigail Devereaux. Maybe that’ll change once she decides to reveal herself. Then, of course, we’ll have a quad to deal with among her/Chad/Gabi and J.J. Ugh! Same ole’ same ole!
we’re both hangin’ in there, aren’t we? I have to admit, though, Joe still doesn’t look up to par to me. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I honestly don’t think he’s completely healed yet. Seems afraid to go long, although we got the early start and that helped us get the win. So glad to see Dumervil back in action. He was awesome yesterday. As for Justin Tucker, no doubt, he’s the best there is. Three field goals all over 50 yards. The guy is a gold mine! In for another tough one this weekend with Miami, so we’ll see how that goes. Helps to have now beaten all three teams in our division so far. The Bills still looking good, too! Now, lets keep it going!
losing to Dallas when they should clearly have won the game put me in such a foul mood that I just couldn’t even post about it. Hoping for better results this week.
but would rather see her pick Justin, since I have never ever been a fan of her with Lucas. But I agree, the sl itself is ridiculous!
and what I know what will be a beautiful and thankful treat for me to hand over the cooking to my very talented DIL. But wanted to take a second before leaving to wish all of my Salem family of friends a heartfelt Happy Thanksgiving Day 2016. I feel very blessed and thankful today, as always, for my children, my grandchildren, a loving family, what seems to be good health, and wonderful friends like all of you. Gathering with you on this board to keep up with the daily Salem news is always a fun and wonderful sort of hobby for me now, and a way to follow DOOL and to keep up with the thoughts and ideas of all of us to participate on this message board. Stefano knew he was on his last leg, so knowing he would soon die, he goaded Hope into killing him, or at least believing she killed him. Why else would he have let out that eerie, stupid laugh after she shot him? Yep, I dont know how they’ll do it, but I’m betting Hope will be home by, or maybe even before, February sweeps.
and I can’t see it….no way! What’s gotten into J.J.? Not only did he again cheat on someone he supposedly is in love with (Gabi), but he did the same thing to her half sister, (Paige).
to me, at least, that she’s going to run circles around the newbies so far. I found her to be very believable as Abbey today, especially in her dialogue with Jennifer. I wonder how long it’s going to take her to come out of hiding and realize that she’s going to lose Chad to Gabi if she insists on keeping the fact that she’s alive a secret, especially when she knows full well that Gabi and Chad are growing closer and will be drawn to one another even more now that J.J.’s ridiculous cheating is out.
Marci Miller will have the same love from fans (not me, of course) as Kate Mansi did; plus I think I read that she has absolutely no acting experience; but, I must say, she looks more like Jen’s and Jack’s daughter, if that means anything, so I’m still on the fence for now. Billy Flynn is such a strong actor and leading man, so a lot is going to be depend on their chemistry. However, that being said, I think I stated many times that I’m not a huge Abigail Devereaux fan to begin with, so I can only hope that she can perform well with the task at hand. If not, that poor girl will probably receive more slings and arrows than she will deserve. If she thinks she can just "wing it" because she’s new, she should probably check in with Vivian Jovanni (Ciara) and ask how she was/is still received. Somehow, and this is just based on first glance, I have a feeling I’m going to like Marci in the role. I think Camila Banus (Gabi) is great and such a naturally beautiful girl that I find it hard not to like her with any pairing.
or soon will be, but you’re right; they should be filming at least through early spring 2017 now, so wouldn’t leave much time to finish open sls and then plan for a proper finale, if, indeed, that’s the plan. I think Drake came back from his injury in September and started filming as soon as he did, and I read we’ll see him on our screens in early January 2017. I can’t help but hope I’m wrong about all of this, though. Jason47 would know this better than anyone, and he does check in with our board now and then, so I guess I’m appealing to him to give us a hint if he knows what’s to come regarding the renewal option.
but the decision to renew for that extra year should come around March, I believe, so we’ll see. I’ll be keeping an eye out for the announcement on the decision to renew, but I honestly have my doubts. And no, I’m not putting the horse before the cart; just not seeing any improvement, which tells me that somebody somewhere just doesn’t care enough to make this show good again.
which only tells me that the writing for JL should have continued with her being written as the bad girl, the way she started when she came to Salem. Instead, they tried to turn her into the loving, motherly, gushy Suzy Homemaker type, and it simply did not work. I hated her and Brady as a loving couple to begin with. I think the actress saw it, too, and it may have been hidden somewhere in her decision to quit the show. She was constantly being blasted for her efforts by fans across every message board I’ve read. Unfortunately, soap writers don’t write to please the fans. They also don’t seem to know when they’ve spoiled a good thing. JL will leave and they’ll find someone else to ruin. Maybe you Claire Brady?
