PattiParticipant
Brady is still using Nicole to serve his purpose of keeping her quiet about her knowing he put Vivian in the coffin. He may be doing a good job of disguising it, but I think once Vivian’s whereabouts are completely revealed, Brady will drop Nicole again. Plus, I think he will be so distressed over Ariana’s hit-and-run, plus Victor’s discovery of Vivian’s whereabouts, he won’t be giving Nicole the attention he has been giving to her. That’s fine with me, cuz I do NOT like Nicole with Brady. She belongs with E.J., and I’m going out on a limb here and SPECULATING that Nicole will be the one of find Ari’s taped confession and take it to E.J. Will he be eternally grateful and forgive Nicole and that’s who he’ll move on from Sami with? …. I doubt it, but we’ll see what happens there. Again, just speculating here.
PattiParticipantIf so, maybe the color purple does have some significance aside from being Frances’ favorite color. In the Catholic Church the priest wears purple vestments during the penitential seasons of Advent and Lent, so there may be some meaning if it is popular during these two religious seasons. Purple also signifies royalty, and Frances was, and always will be, the queen of DOOL.
PattiParticipantbut since we’re comparing the volatile content of the crimes of E.J. against those of Sami, and some do compare them, let’s take a look at whose were worse and who deserves what:
Did Officer Eve Michaels deserve to be killed?
Did Philip and Shawn deserve to have their sperm samples tampered with?
Did Max Brady deserve to have his race-car tampered with, which resulted in an explosion?
Did Steve and Kayla deserve to be exposed to poisonous gas?
Did John Black deserve to be shot, leaving him comatose for five months?
Did Sami Brady deserve to be forced to succumb to being raped just so E.J. would agree to save Lucas?
Did Sami Brady deserve to be forced to drive him over the border so he could escape being caught?
Did Patrick Lockhart deserve to be beaten into oblivion with a belt buckle wrapped around E.J.’s fist?
Did Steve Johnson deserve to be tortured and tormented with a devil tarot card until he was put into an asylum?
Did Steve Johnson deserve to be forced to take a comatose John Black from the hospital so John’s kidney could be taken?
Did Kayla Johnson deserve to be run off the road?
Did Bo and Hope deserve to have their house bugged?
Did Sami Brady Roberts deserve to be chloroformed?
Did Lucas Roberts deserve to be locked in a freezer truck to die?
Did Philip Kiriakis deserve to be the target of a hit man hired by Elvis?
Did Stephanie Johnson deserve to be kidnapped by Owen and spend days on end in a morgue drawer to avenge his father’s kidnapping by Victor?
Did poor, sweet, innocent Arianna (said with sarcasm) deserve to have her drug operation taken over by E.J. and she served the time while he did the crime?
Does that sweet child, Sydney, deserve to have a father who orchestrated her kidnapping and staged her death (yeah, some father)?
AND THE BEAT GOES ON…..and on…..and on….and – well my fingers are tired anyway, but hopefully some can see just a FEW of E.J.’s crimes; BUT, HEY, he’s a good looking bastard, so best to keep that in mind.
PattiParticipantI look at Sami over the years and have to say, yes, yes, yes, she never changes ….. that is until FBI Agent Rafael Hernandez entered her life. I never thought I would say this, but this time I think it is true love for Sami and Rafe. She exudes admiratin, love and respect for him and knows he feels the same toward her, and for once Will sees it as well. So, I guess in a sense, what I am saying is that she has matured a great deal because of Rafe, AND, has developed a much stronger relationship with Will. I think she’s finally happy. So, I can’t say she hasn’t changed, because to me she has grown up. Thank goodness, cause after four kids, I should hope she has a better handle on things. Whether or not she’s guilty of attempted murder is obviously a topic we will all disagree on for our own reasoning and due to our own preferences on whom we like/dislike. But, has she changed from the old Sami … I have to say yes, a great deal, and thank goodness for it.
PattiParticipantcan’t wait till that one hits the air waves. The fact that Stefano told Chad he was beginning to remind him of E.J. started that one rolling, but E.J. was his pathetic obnoxious self to the young man. Guess Kate will have some splainin’ to do when she gets home. Also, on another note, I hate the way James is acting right now as well. He’s overly flamboyant, from his wide-eyed, contemptible, condescending mannerism, to his flagrant flamboyancy in throwing his arms all over the place when he spews his venom … it’s just not the same quality actor and it makes him appear more like a flailing idiot then ever to me. I’m just sayin’, he’s jutting out all over the place when he speaks and he appears more comical than convincing to me.
PattiParticipantinnocent and helpless as a pool of teeny weeny piranhas, and he certainly would have taken those kids the next day had he been able to, so thank you, Kate, for the head’s up. Sami should immediately get a permit to carry a gun, and if he dared come near her or any one of the kids, his, hers or theirs, up to and including the family court hearing to determine custody, she should make sure her aim is much better and she puts one right between his eyes.
PattiParticipantbut I think Caroline would have given Nicole a left hook if she had attempted to touch the little girl.
PattiParticipantwhen she was in big…and I do mean big… trouble with her refusal to allow Rafe to disclose to Sami what REALLY happened to Rafe’s ex and pleaded with Rafe not to say anything for fear of her getting herself in deeper trouble than she already was in, only tells me that she had something to do with Emily’s death. If she was defending anyone else except E.J., my thinking might be a little more on her wave length. No one should be excused from shooting an unconscious person in the head, but as I’ve stated many times before, this is no innocent victim (E.J. that is). This is a cruel, heartless, conniving, self-serving individual who is, or will be at some point in his life, a mirror image of his father and his father’s ways, and damned proud of it. I so wish before she got killed off that she could come to realize how much E.J. AND Stefano have been using her. The best part of it is that she will evidently get bumped off before she has the chance to tell E.J., although I’m sure the secret will come out in time. Secrets always do in Salem. But, since she has a crush on E.J., and has never liked, or even pretended to like, Sami, she will do anything in her power to keep Rafe from being with her. I think she’s taking brotherly love a little too far here. In a way, I wish she would recover and wind up with E.J. just so she can realize for herself what Rafe has been trying to tell her all along about the DiMeras. She’s acting more like a jealous girlfriend rather than a loving sister. Good luck on AMC, Lindsay, but glad to know you’ll soon be outta’ Salem.
PattiParticipantBristol tonight — that’s my guess. She’s a pretty girl and has improved some, but the competition above her gets better and better, and she just cannot compete on their level. I think she’s just too shy to really ‘put it out there.’
PattiParticipantthe "evil twin" storyline — one will be named Jason; one named Ben — that would be my "guess."
PattiParticipantwho looks just fine without make-up. She has very classic features, is a natural beauty in every way, and too much make-up is never a good thing anyway. That look they created with her when she was under the influence of the sleeping pills was horrid, IMO.
PattiParticipantI’m totally sick of his sarcasm, the way he throws the DiMera name, money and power around each and every time he doesn’t have the patience to dispute a remark made by anyone, like the new doc (Ben?) yesterday and today. He disgusts me to no end, and the only difference I see between your opinion and mine is that I’ve ALWAYS felt he was a disgusting character. A daddy’s boy who will, I’m sure, reap what he sows. I can’t help but compare him to a good wine that’s been left open way too long and now he’s turned rancid.
PattiParticipantgoes to what I posted on another thread on the spoilers’ board about the new doc.
PattiParticipantand the storyline has something with the evil one stealing body parts. Good Lord, is it Andre coming back as Dr. Ben with a different face? I feel my headache coming on.
PattiParticipantI thought she just kept asking "what have I done?", which could be interpreted as her being guilty of the non-wedding, causing him to attempt suicide. I don’t remember if she actually said she shot him. And what about Will talking to E.J. while he was in the coma? Did he actually say Sami was the shooter? I can’t seem to remember, but they claim that coma patients, in some instances, can hear what’s going on around them and what’s being said to them.
