PattiParticipantto Bono’s. Sorry, but I guess that’s proof … great minds think alike …. !
PattiParticipantWe’ve all been wondering the significance of showing scenes back and forth in the mirror when Sami shot E.J. Maybe that’s it — when she shot him he sort of went into a convulsive state, eyes twittering, head shaking. Maybe for just a fleeting second or two he opened his eyes and saw Sami leaving the room … saw her in the mirror. His memory will be shoddy when he first wakes up, but then they’ll bring him a mirror to look at his new do, and all he will see is a flashback of seeing himself in the mirror, shot and bleeding, and Sami leaving with the gun….right before the lights go out. BY JOVE, I THINK I’VE GOT IT !!!!!
PattiParticipantthe novelty has completely worn off, unless Nicole comes into the picture and adds to Vivian’s torture. Otherwise, Vivian’s repetitive dialogue and threats, combined with Brady’s, have reached their limit with me. Hell, the dehydration or lack of the potty chair, or if Brady would have or have not seen the hole for the straw, or even if he would have allowed her fluids if he did see it, would be the least of her concerns. I would think that she would have died from her own stench by now.
PattiParticipantI so wish they would have turned him into broccoli. He is such a treacherous pathetic moron. It’s sad when a guy that good-looking can only get Sami is by threatening her, blackmailing her, terrorizing her and her family, or threatening to take her kids, then The thought of him returning and rehashing this fake amnesia story line is beyond repulsive. He’s faking the whole thing still trying to possess Sami. What a sick loser. Rafe will take care of him, I have no doubt. As long as Sami doesn’t let the bleach go to her head, and tells Rafe everything, including WHY she shot him, he will take care of the rest. They (the DiMeras) couldn’t kill him when they tried. The only way they can get what they want is to have someone else do it for them. Stefano has been reduced to a blubbering shell of what he once was, and full of empty threats. I’m hoping Anna will come back and decide to take her revenge on both of them.

He may have done some horrific things in the past, but he seems to have a very loving relationship with his daughters (gosh, they’re beautiful girls), and, although I don’t think it’s fair, that disgusting scene that the media so quickly jumped on, in my opinion, killed his chances. Something like that follows you around for years and years, and most people think of it as soon as they see him. I definitely do not think he should have been the first to go, even though he’s no Fred Astaire … but who is this early in the competition. Margaret Cho, on the other hand, and a few others I can think of, should have gone before David. But then, who knows, maybe Cho will come back next week and, taking the judges advice, leave the comedy for her club acts and concentrate on her dancing. She has a wonderful partner in Louie, and I’d bet he was chewing nails having to give in to her demands for the comedic routine, which failed miserably.
PattiParticipantnot only where Bo is concerned, but Carly was Isabella’s best friend. Carly was her doctor as well, and even diagnosed her pancreatic cancer and treated her. Also, when Isabella was alive, Carly was with Bo, and they were all the best of friends. I just thought it was strange that they were not there.
PattiParticipantmight be because he either knows or suspects that Chloe had an affair; and since he’s also been very suspicious of her relationship with Philip and questioning why he shows up at their apartment so much lately, it would not be a question of what is right for him and Chloe, but if he does suspect or know that it’s Philip, he would be breaking up his daughter’s marriage to Philip as well, and I just have a feeling that since he is so insanely in love with Chloe, maybe, just maybe, he feels that he would be doing all 4 of them a favor, but if this whole truth comes out, I think Philip will be the one exploding on them, since he’s made it clear to Chloe that if it were his baby, he would take care of both of them. Realizing that he gave up his child before, I think he would be determined not to give up another one. So, Daniel may feel it’s in all of their best interests if he keeps quiet about it. Plus, he so wants Chloe and this child, he’s willing to go against everything that is right, just and ethical to keep them. JMO.
PattiParticipantthey were going to give her an extreme makeover. CC is a beautiful woman but they made her appear older and hag-like with those ridiculous clothes she wore when she first came back to Salem, along with the scraggly hair and sparse make-up. It made her look much older than her years. Now she looks more like Carly, just in time for her to find that Bo will still love her in some way, but he will be completely absorbed in caring for his "true" love, Hope. Ciara is making an effort, perhaps due to Victor’s urging her the other day when Maggie was looking on, but it’s not helping Hope to not be returning her daughter’s letters. If it continues (which I’m sure it won’t), I would guess it might warrant the little girl turning to someone else, i.e., Carly, for a mother’s love. Or, maybe she’s just faking it for Bo’s sake.
PattiParticipantand thought everyone did a fairly good to great job for their first performance, except for Margaret Cho, who started out okay but I had to agree with the judges that there is no place for comedy in the Viennese Waltz. Len was throwing some zingers last night. He can be just as funny as he is harsh at times, and I loved his response to "The Situation" (Uggggh). This guy seems to be more full of hisself than any of the stars and Len quickly shut him down with: "And you’ve got the guns but not the ammunition." I don’t expect Bristol Palin to go too far, but it was nice to see her come out from behind her mother’s shadow. I hope she improves, but she just doesn’t seem to have the nerve to do the moves required to make you shine on this show. I’ll be watching to see if she improves. Absolutely love Brandy and hope she goes all the way to the top, which I predict she will. She’s got the whole package, IMO, not to mention my year-to-year hottie, Maks, on her arm. Go Brandy!
PattiParticipantI couldn’t possibly count all of the times I’ve been helped through divine intervention. I truly believe in the power of prayer, in God, and in the faith I have in both. I’m always reminded of a wise sort of anecdote I read once that said something like….’whenever someone looks toward heaven, weeping and questioning God’s wisdom and mercy and says something like, Lord, why did this happen to me; why didn’t You save me; why wouldn’t You help me; a voice could be heard inside that person’s mind stating: ‘Because you didn’t ask’.
PattiParticipantthey would have put her into a story involving Phillip. Once this paternity switch breaks wide open, there is not a doubt in my mind that it will be the end of Phillip and Melanie, who I never thought was right from the beginning. Arianna and Melanie were good friends, and perhaps she could have gotten involved in trying to help both of them through a very difficult break-up, while at the same time having Phillip grow increasingly attracted to her. I would have liked to have seen them work together, and I think they would look good together. Oh well, maybe she’ll break up that damn Ryan and Greenlee on AMC. LOL.
PattiParticipantespecially when Missy Reeves returns, which is soon. I think Jennifer will be a very integral part of the reconciliation of Bo and Hope, but, in the meanwhile, I think we’ll be seeing more of Hope’s miserable prison life to boot, which she could have avoided had she not been so damn stubborn and not allow anyone to help her. She could have probably served out her time in therapy or a mental health facility and not served hard time; but, since she insisted she must "pay" for her crimes, she now has to "deal with it." Oh, well, let this be a lesson to us all — i.e., good guys talk and bullshi*t villains walk.
PattiParticipantbe on the first bus, plane or train OUT!
