this past winter would not have been to anyone’s liking. LOL. Even we here in the mid-Atlantic weren’t ready for that one. They come along every three to fours or so, but that much snow was paralyzing to our entire state for days on end. It’s pretty when it lands, but ever so ugly about a week later, when everything starts moving again.
PattiParticipantit even makes EM a better actor, IMO. Today was terrific and Brady will end up getting the best of Vivian, I’m sure of it. In the meantime, it was great seeing Vivian sweat, and even greater to realize that now that Gus has left her, she has no one to conspire with. Can’t wait to see what happens when Brady comes to. Wonder if someone will come to his rescue or if he simply wakes up while Vivian is trying to put HIM in the sarcophagus and he overtakes her and reverses her plan of action. Love it. Imagine Vivian lying in that thing, screaming to high heaven and nobody coming to her rescue. If she’s in there any length of time, wonder what that toxic paint will do to her already loopy brain.
PattiParticipantinstead of Hope Brady, and how would Hope’s cellmate know her from the name Williams? I think somebody screwed up there. I thought the cellmate was going to be a little sympathetic when Hope talked about Ciara, because she softened somewhat realizing how much being separated from her own children meant, but no such luck. Hope should know how to handle herself pretty well seeing as how she does have the training; however, the part about the other prisoners knowing she’s a cop now is pretty true to standards. I would think that nothing makes hard-timers happier than to see a cop in jail with them.
PattiParticipanttopping out at around 80 degrees, low humidity, and gorgeous sunshine. After a summer close to and sometimes at or over 100 degrees with sweltering high humidity, this is a blessing to us. I’m absolutely loving this weather. I turned my air off last week and haven’t had to put it back on yet. Right now, all is right with the world because I would venture to say that practically our entire state is patiently awaiting the debut of our beloved Ravens, who start their season tonight playing the Jets in New Jersey. We’re the first game of an unusual double-header Monday Night Football game. The Ravens are our second children, and our household’s pride and joy (besides my grandkids that is), and my sons, DIL’s and the kids will be in our Ravens’ jerseys waiting on pins and needles for opening kick-off, and we’ll stay that way from beginning to end — that’s what a bunch of Raven-maniacs we all are. LOL.

PattiParticipantand regardless of how much her and Bo made me sick to my stomach when she first came back, they (writers) have managed to change my mind about her immensely of late. I think I actually like Carly now, and hope that CC decides to stick around. She is a terrific actress, and they have certainly gone to the trouble of improving her hair and wardrobe. I think Bo will slowly begin to gravitate toward Hope, especially with the prison storyline that’s in the works now. I understand Hope’s in for some bad times adjusting to prison. And we all know Bo … he can’t resist when his lady (regardless of which one it is) is in trouble, so he’ll most likely be riding his white horse to her rescue, leaving Carly to realize more and more how much Bo truly loves Hope. I believe he does love Carly, too, but not in the same way he loves, and always will love, Hope. I think eventually the truth will come out that Chloe had an affair and that will break Daniel and Chloe up, because I’m pretty sure now that this baby will be Philip’s, since they are starting to throw the hints that November sweeps will be pretty explosive for many couples in Salem who are together now, but may not be after sweeps. I think we have some pretty good stuff coming up.
PattiParticipantthat’s why everyone, including Doug and Julie, were so relieved and almost overjoyed.
PattiParticipantbut I think the lyrics were actually "HOP" on the bus, Gus.
PattiParticipantso I wonder if she will be the one who runs down Ariana, who will be on her way to tell E.J. that Sami was the one who shot her when it happens. Is this going to be an ‘eye for an eye’ storyline? You killed my sister, so now I’m going to kill yours? Just a thought, haven’t seen anything relating to Ari’s death being anything more than an accident, but nothing in Salem isn’t already planned out, we all know that. Or, is it going to be Will who runs her down because he finds out that she is going to expose Sami? Sort of guessing it will be a planned hit, so I’m hoping it won’t be Will.
PattiParticipantRafe has a connection to the DiMeras, but I don’t want him to be one. I wondered how Stefano knew to get in touch with Emily’s sister, Meredith, to begin with. He seemed to know how to locate her to bring her to Salem in an attempt to get rid of Rafe. The more I think of it, the more I love the possibilities. Did the DiMeras kill Emily, or have her killed? Did Ariana know who the DiMeras were before she came to Salem? So many good ideas coming all at once to make this an exciting story-line. Please, Dena, JUST DO IT!

PattiParticipantYes, it’s Brady, and I can’t wait to see this. I must say, I loved the way Carly went off on both Vivian and Gus today. I’m surprised and glad to see someone finally taking a solid stance with Vivian. She is, after all, mad as a hatter, and Gus is a little pi$$ ant who looked shocked and a little scared today when Carly turned around and pushed him away from her. But the most absurd and difficult pill for me to swallow in all of this is that, yes, she had Isabella’s remains transferred to a pet cemetery. Now, I have to wonder, what will Victor think of that one? Uhhhh, my guess, buh-bye Viv, and you’d better get on the bus, Gus, … you know, the fastest one out of Salem … if you know what’s good for you that is. Although jail might be too good for you, it would still be a blessing in disguise rather than having Victor, Brady and Philip get their hands on you. Oh, yeah, I can’t wait for this one.
PattiParticipantMrs. Stefano DiMera and knows what she would have to lose if Stefano ever found out she gave Sami a head’s up about E.J.’s plan. Also, she seems to be genuinely torn between her love for her own grandchildren (Will and Allie at least), and her growing love for Stefano. E.J., not so much, although I wonder if Stefano knows E.J. and Kate had an affair at one time. In any case, Kate’s emotions are very mixed right about now.
PattiParticipantalthough I have to say I’m sick up to my eyeballs with the constantly failed attempt to pair E.J. and Sami. It has never worked before; she didn’t love him then, she doesn’t love him now (guilt is not love), and it will never ever work with these two, especially now. He is a pathetic, boot licking fool when they pair him with Sami, and she is brain dead and clueless bimbo when she’s paired with him. At least with Rafe she’s has a chance to be with someone who really loves her for who and what she is, not wanting to change her, and giving her kids some stability in their poor little screwed up lives. Well, anyway, if she would have used what little grey matter she does have up there, she could and should simply not worry about what she said to him in that hospital room. No one was in that room but her and E.J., and after what he is going through, and certainly when he wakes up (ugh) with, in Lexi’s own words, "diminished brain capacity," hell, all she has to do when he does remember is DENY…DENY…DENY. This might just be the one time that Sami would be believed over her accuser. Of course, the old Sami would simply have walked into that room with one intention, and one intention only ….. to finish what she started.
PattiParticipantyou’re in the right church, but the wrong pew, then your train’s on the right track, but it needs some help. Can’t spoil here, though.
PattiParticipantif Isabella doesn’t come back and haunt Vivian to death.
