just more predictability of yet another soap staple. Surely writers are out there who can come up with something new, different and, most importantly, interesting. I don’t care enough about Jade and Joey to even want to watch this, so this sl will be fast-forward material for me. I made a reference about watching for Joey’s latest dilemma in an earlier post when JJ’s cheating and stupidity was being discussed, so here it is now with Joey, and frankly I’m bored before it even starts. WAKE UP CORDAY…..THE DOOR TO RENEWAL FOR THAT EXTRA YEAR IS BEGINNING TO CLOSE!!!!
so I suppose next week will be our test when we have to take on Dallas. Hope the Bills come out of their bye all revved up and ready to roll. I know I’m getting excited for my Ravens again!
when you consider we were playing an 0 and 9 team in the Browns, now 0 and 10; but, still a Ravens win. For that I’m extremely happy, because if we had lost to the Browns, I think it would have considerably taken our road out of the dark tunnel and sent us spiraling right back down in the dumps. At least we have started to gain our confidence back…not so much in the first half but guns blazing in the second half. Just the look on Joe’s face brought it all back for me to see a slow return to the team were are so capable of being with that strength and ability to come back in the second half. He was smiling again and actually talking to the coaches (LOL) in the second half, which he has obviously NOT been doing the past few weeks. Anyway, thanks powerpaw2. I’m now regaining my confidence right along with the team. Looks like Weddle was right when he claimed "all we need is one win and we’ll turn it all around," and that was 3 weeks ago. Plus, I’m loving Perriman and think he’ll be huge for us if he can stay healthy.
I remember that scene and thinking to myself, "is that Abigail in that bed" and then thinking, okay, something will surface soon, but then nothing did, up until Laura came to Salem, which was vague and boring to say the least. Was I supposed to be excited about Jen’s mentally challanged mother coming back for a day or two, and then poof…she was gone again? So I guess what I’m saying is it did not have that affect on me to associate that return with Abigail’s kidnapping, and certainly not that she would be in cahoots with Andre. I guess because I have never been a huge Abigail Devereaux fan, so I just didn’t care where she was until now (LOL), especially after I saw on spoilers that she would show up in November. So now the call from Laura to Andre became crystal clear. THEY HAD ABIGAIL ALL ALONG! And here’s where I agree that this would have been handled much better in "Days" of old! The slow build before the big bang….But it’s Dena Higley, so I guess that explains it for now, for me anyway!
I don’t presume to know the laws, but I would assume that if the donor (Dan) is deceased before the child is even conceived, and there is no written agreement between the donor and the surrogate, the child would legally belong to the birth mother. I think there’s a law that even when a surrogate gives birth, she still has the right to refuse to give up her baby when it is born, but it has to be done within a limited time period, especially when no money changed hands. Although, admittedly, I’m not sure about that one. Personally, I think Chloe will come around at some point and either give the baby up or maybe have to fight Deimos and Nicole in court for the child. Ugh…another pure angst sl for Nicole, any way you look at it!
21-14 Ravens, even though Pittsburgh made it close near the end of the game. All I know is that onside kick will be in the NFL bloopers for a long time to come. Looked like the Steelers put Michael Flatley, Lord of the Dance, in uniform to make that kick. LOL! Just happy to see a win again if for no other reason that to boost our confidence, since we have to play again Thursday night. So many teams are 4 and 4 this season. Makes you wonder what’s happeing in the NFL. I know one thing, the penalties are unreal this season, and I find they’re ruining the game sometimes. Several called on us today were ridiculously uncalled for. Oh well, be happy for the win Patti! LOL! Ravens back in first place in our division!
but is she going to have any "legal" right with Daniel being dead before Chloe got pregnant. I can’t see how, as, unless I mentioned in another post, there was some sort of executed surrogacy agreement between Chloe and Daniel that we don’t know about either. And why not, we didn’t know about anything else about this until we saw the flashbacks. I still can’t beieve Shawn Christen came back to do those, but I’m glad he did.
I just wish she didn’t allow Rafe to talk her into (because that’s what he did) getting rid of the body and then covering it up. That’s what has her in trouble, and Rafe and Roman both share that amount of guilt anyway. Hope could have easily used the temporary insanity defense, but that went out the window when she agreed to the cover-up. Still, I will never be unhappy about Stefano DeMira being gone.
and now that she’s positive the baby is not Deimos’, we now have the "Oh, no, it can’t be". I like it; good sl for me, as long as Nicole gets the child in the end.
to give the baby up to Nicole, but when she saw that Nicole brought Deimos with her, I’m betting she’ll hold back on telling Nicole the truth, because, as I stated in another post, Chloe now hates Deimos and she is now well aware that they are getting back together, so she might withhold the information about the child being Daniel’s. We’ll see but so far I like the sl.
