KC and these writers took a marvelously talented actress and turned her into a cartoon.  Vivian and Ivan were so much fun to watch, and they were ideal villains and partners in crime.  Vivian and Gus are an embarrassment, especially Vivian (there is no use for Gus, as far as I can see, at all).  When Louise Sorrell left the show the first time, she swore she would never return.  Now, I’m sure she wishes she hadn’t.

give an interview and saying something like James has in past interviews …. "there’s going to be a twist that nobody saw coming…..", that we are supposed to think we’re going to be seeing something new when, in fact, it’s the same old storyline, nothing more, nothing less.  I always wondered …. do soap opera writers read?  They can’t possibly be that limited in the brain power area that they can’t research a best seller’s list or a public library, or books on line, for goodness sake, just to get some ideas for creative storylines, which might, just perhaps, be something we’ve never seen before … (wait a minute, did I say research?????) …………. NAAAAHHHHHH!

I would have to say it would be Lauren Koslow and Joe Moscola.  They have gone beyond ‘good acting’ this week, and made me truly believe in them as having grown to genuinely love one another instead of what started out as a forced marriage to gain control or possession on Stefano’s part, followed by Kate’s withholding Madeline’s secret information from Stefano to have the sort of upper-hand with Stefano where Chad’s birth certificate was concerned.  All that has been put on hold for me right now, because Kate and Stefano showed me this past week that they love their children, no doubt, but they are realizing that perhaps they love each other more and I expect now that this has been brought out so dramatically, that these writers will continue with this pleasantly surprised fan’s approval of two characters I have never, ever enjoyed up until now.

Sami should have stayed at the Pub with her kids and dealt with the situation in the morning.  I think Rafe also made a bad choice in proposing to her, even though he supposedly doesn’t know anything about the shooting yet.  Now he’s beginning to act like the lap dog we hear so much about where men will simply do whatever necessary to share their love with this woman.  That kind of man has always gagged me, and I’m sorry to see Rafe showing these tendencies with Sami now.

for an attempted murder charge, and seeing as how she was connected to law enforcement in so many ways herself, it sure wouldn’t be fair if Sami got off on a temporary insanity plea when poor schizophrenic Hope is sitting in jail.  Plus, if we are to believe half of what we see, and nothing of what we hear, the writers are picking up the pace and getting ready for September through March, hoping to lift ratings and not dragging out storylines until the general population is even more disgusted with writers and storylines that go on endlessly.  I think Sami needs some time off-screen though, so that might be one way to do it.

as far as E.J. being unconscious so she didn’t have to shoot him, it can be said, and probably will be, that her state of mind clearly could be described as temporary insanity.  This is E.J. DiMera, the same man who has put her, as well as her family, through their worst nightmares and now has finally been caught and proven to be the Sydnapper, and she was about to marry this lunatic (albeit purely out of spite, but married to him nevertheless).  After a horrific non-wedding screaming match, she then gets a reprieve from that close call, thanks to Rafe and Nicole, takes her children and leaves, and just when she’s thinking all is well with the world, she gets a call from Kate telling her that her children are about to be taken away from her … AGAIN, and that she heard E.J. tell Stefano that he was going to take them out of the country (only because Kate was afraid of losing Will by having him believe Kate was somehow involved).  So, she leaves Rafe’s loving arms and bed (you should have been at home by now, Sami) and heads for the Mansion to have it out with him where she finds him not only drunk, but passed out cold with a gun in his hand, and everything comes flooding back into her mind.  Hell, if that were my situation, and I knew an attempt was going to be made the next day for this dangerous psychopath to once again abscond with my kids, hell, I would have shot the S.O.B. too.  The mistake she made was throwing the gun in the river instead of immediately turning herself in.  So, even though I believe she is the one who shot him (with good reason in my book), and putting malice and forethought aside,  I do think that at that moment she was temporarily insane.  She certainly looked like it, and her voice throughout all of this sounded like something right out of The Exorcist.  I don’t think, however, that she was alone in the house with E.J.  I think the whole thing was witnessed by someone else.  Has to be a continuation plot, ya’ know.

but all of these others were checking into some site, and stating things like "there" or "done" and that was before Stephanie and Ian first got into the site.  So I’m just imagining, for the sake of the plot, that this has been changed back and forth and back again so many times that we still won’t know until somebody besides Stephanie knows that Phillip had sex with Chloe and that the baby could be his.  Even Carly doesn’t know it was Phillip, but Carly did the DNA swab on Daniel, so she would know if the test showed negative, it would not be Daniel’s child, but who’s to say it wasn’t changed before then?  Oh, I’m getting my usual migraine with these types of story-lines.  Maybe we should call this one "who changed the daddy"?

and plays this role to perfection.  The pure angst exhibited by him over the past few days has been Emmy worthy and if he doesn’t win it, then NBC should boycott the show.  That’s, of course, assuming he would nominate himself with this particular scene.

why didn’t she just tell Rafe the truth about who was on the phone and what Kate told her?  Still lying to suit her own agenda.  E.J. has been pathetic to a fault where Sami is concerned and he may just have sunk to a new low, but I think he’s past the point of thinking reasonably.  Sami has always been combative where E.J. and Stefano are concerned, but to lie to Rafe saying the call was from Caroline letting her know the children were safe and then taking off to confront a drunken man who has just lost the woman he claims to be the love of his life, and, in the interim, lost his children, silenced an FBI bodyguard or at least put him out of commission for a time when he then attempted to murder Nicole, followed by a contemplated suicide is pure lunacy on Sami’s part.  She thinks she’s indestructible when it comes to E.J., but I have a feeling she will regret this day more than she will have regretted anything in her life.  And yes, she did shoot him in the head, or so it has been stated.  There was no blood when he passed out, but tomorrow’s previews showed him bleeding from his head.  I don’t see how she could miss from point blank range just a foot or so away when aiming at a completely passed out target.

I didn’t mean it in a negative sense.  I’m glad, too, that she is cutting the apron strings and doing something for herself without being in the shadow of her mom’s spotlight.  As for Jennifer Gray, I do think she has an edge over contestants who have no dance background at all; but, again, that’s just MHO.
