and she simply cannot be without a man in her life. But, I will never believe she is in love with E. J. She is attracted to him … who wouldn’t be … but she is not in love with him. But, when I see her with Rafe, I believe she is truly in love, and that’s where they have improved her. She’s not plotting ways to get him by faking pregnancies, stealing babies, drugging him, blackmailing him, or any of the other atrocities she has pulled on men and women in her past to get what she wants. Rafe doesn’t manipulate her; he just truly loves her, with all of her faults, and when she is with Rafe, she IS a better person. She may not win any mother of the year awards, and she will probably continue to shoot herself in the foot until Sydney has children of her own some day, but I really do see a better coupling with her and Rafe, and hope that when they finally do reconnect, I don’t have to sit back and watch a manipulative bunch of ridiculous threatening b/s by the DiMeras to split them up in hopes of pushing her back to E.J. Sami and E.J. are not now, nor will they ever be, right for each other. Admittedly, they do, indeed, have a tremendous amount of chemistry between them; unfortunately, in their case, all it will lead them to is eventually blowing themselves up.
I think perhaps she should check her own moral compass before she tries to guide anyone else down the path of right and wrong. I don’t disagree that Daniel deserves to know the truth, but it’s not Carly’s place to tell him, it’s Chloe’s. I just hope that when it does come out, Daniel will be able to then put himself in Lucas’ shoes; otherwise he has no right to judge her OR Phillip.
that ‘thimble’ full of liquor that Baker poured down Brady’s throat couldn’t possibly have done the amount of damage they would have me believe, even with his being drugged beforehand. What did Nathan say his blood alcohol content was? I have to wonder what blood alcohol test could have possibly shown any "high level" of alcohol in his system, or even have shown up on a monitor at all. He was given one pill in his soda, which probably did make him sleepy or dizzy; but Baker poured more alcohol over Ethan’s shirt than he did down his throat. Yet, it would appear he was on death’s doorstep from drug and alcohol poisoning. LOL. Once again, pathetic believability factor.
that I really liked a recast of a very popular, back-in-the-good-old-days, character right off the bat. I would really like to see him stick around.
The writers are slowly but surely destroying this show once again. I had high hopes for a while, but it’s getting outta’ control again, and Sami and E.J. are a perfect example of why.
this kind of secret in his wife’s closet … sex between his fiance’ and his son-in-law, yet. Then there’s Phillip interfering, as well as Carly, but looking out for his own butt since he knows this will destroy his marriage to Melanie, which I’m convinced she’s waiting to happen anyway. And, let’s not forget Stephanie, who will probably figure it out and add to Chloe’s list of enablers to try and make her keep her big mouth shut and marry Daniel anyway. After all, once Melanie cuts Phillip loose when she finds out, it’s Stephanie WHO???? for Nathan, and I would be okay with that, because Phillip is reminding me more and more of some dirty old man, physically and literally. Mistake or not, Chloe and Phillip should not have jumped each other’s bones on an assumption that their spouses were cheating. Ridiculous reasoning and bad story line from the start. Now, what will really break some stones is if the near-impossible pregnant Chloe comes into play and Carly has to be the one to tell her and Daniel that she’s (Chloe) pregnant. I think I would have to send a personal letter to the writing staff on that one asking them if they would honestly believe that Chloe Lane plunges however many stories down a moving elevator at whatever plunging elevator speed is, lands on whatever floor she landed on, is unconscious, bleeding, and requires immediate brain surgery, but she managed to do no harm to her pregnancy just so we can watch ANOTHER DISGUSTING WHO’S THE DADDY STORYLINE???? Not just bad writing, but bloomin’ frickin’ idiots is what they would then have to be.
I hope you were joking, because the only planning Stephanie did was to trick Nathan into staying with her once he knew she was pregnant. Or, we could look at it as Stephanie was planning a family all right, only she decided not to tell Nathan about it beforehand. LOL — some plan!
Watching James and Ari Z. on Friday was like watching a 4th of July display. The sparks were flying in every direction. I loved the mirrored banter they were trading with one another, each expressing the ‘yeah, like you’ve got room to talk’ attitude. I thought for sure when he grabbed her face, that he was going to kiss her. They both sure looked like they wanted it to happen. In any case, they were SMOKIN’ HOT!!!
I am surprised at James Scott. I have read many interviews from this actor, and he has always maintained a sense of professionalism and intelligence. This one surprises me. I think James should take another look at those scenes.
I have always thought that Bo and Hope, the one true super-couple left on this show, have created their own problems by not trusting their love for each other, in good times and bad, and realize that the longevity of their history together should prove to both of them that they can come through any crisis, including ones they create themselves, if they allow themselves to trust in their genuine love for each other. To this point, they are BOTH weak and their rash decisions prove it to a fault. I had to laugh at the line the writers gave Hope the other day when she told Doc Baker that Bo left her and now has another woman living in her house. How strange that she seems to have forgotten who walked out on whom. And, I will never understand how either of them now decide that it’s best to simply part ways than to try…..oh, I don’t know, …. marriage counseling, maybe. So, we’ve finally reached the point where they may or may not divorce, although I don’t see that happening, but if neither one is willing to admit to the other how they truly feel and insist on causing continuous pain and heartache to one another, then maybe they should finally end it once and for all. I hope not, but the rinse and repeat cycle is predictable and frustrating. I love this couple and wish the writers would take this opportunity to realize, enough of this. It’s time for Bo and Hope to either begin believing in the strength of their love for one another, other or simply cut bait and swim on.
….. so anyway, I thought they were supposed to be in Argentina, and Shane was accused of having made an assassination attempt on the President of that country, which he actually did not do but IS on an ISA mission, undercover naturally, which has yet to be explained.
but it’s nowhere near as horrid as those butt-ugly diamond patterned leggings Sami’s been wearing all week, and E.J. may be hot, but that pink shirt and tie, along with the ill-fitting suit – have to go (can’t we see him in some nice jeans and tee-shirt occasionally — same with Phillip). Ari still had the ugly top on yesterday, but at least she covered it up with her ‘Members Only’ jacket (Brady had one on too but in tan — how cute (ugh) — (said with sarcasm). Please, DOOL, make today’s show a new day.
