PattiParticipant
because Nadia is doing a good job of portraying a young woman on the brink of insanity. I actually was moved by her yesterday. She is so guilt-ridden and so determined to cover up her repeated infidelity that she is willing, now, to go to extremes by conspiring with Vivian, the queen of lunacy, without a doubt. We all know this will backfire, as these plots usually do, but Nadia is pulling it off extremely well. Her outspoken bout with good and evil yesterday, driving her to finally rush off to the hospital in one final attempt at reasoning with Carly before deciding whether or not to silence her for good, was brought out well in Nadia’s acting, IMO. Even to the very end, the push-pull emotions she was having trying to decide what to do before she got the text message from Otis (very clever, writers) was clearly portrayed as a severely mentally unstable Chloe Lane. Today will probably prove to her that she may wish she didn’t try to stop Carly from getting on that elevator. In any case, I think Nadia is doing a great job and is pulling off this role beautifully. The woman is so extremely beautiful that it’s hard to see her as this emotional pile of destructive insecurity. I hope for the character’s sake that they "fix" her and the blame falls where it truly lies — on Vivian Alamain.
PattiParticipantit’s all about a young woman who has been so very unsuccessful in prior relationships that she is now insecure to the point that she is determined to hold onto Nathan, not so much because she truly loves him, but more because she is determined to keep him away from Melanie by guilting him into staying with her through an obvious unwanted pregnancy. What a horrible reason to try to bring a child into the world. This character is just as much, if not more, despicable as most of the weak, manipulative women on this show. I would have had a great deal more respect for Stephanie if she would have said to both Mel and Nathan: "look, you two obviously have not gotten over each other, and you have played on my emotions long enough, and I so do not need, nor do I want, either of you in my life. Good luck, and SEE YA’." Then I could have given her a huge thumbs up. Instead, I find her even more pathetic, weak, whiny, and now deceitful than she has ever been in the past.

PattiParticipantbut tons of flashbacks with all returnees; however, due to the pre-emption for the President’s update on the BP oil spill, previously listed dates are now moved up one day. Here is the revised update (assuming no other pre-emptions will surface between now and then:

Just a further note – Wednesday, June 23: Taylor Spreitler (Mia) last airs
PattiParticipantYou would think they would welcome all the volunteers they could get their hands on. Just goes to show you, most states are determined to make BP pay in any way they can. Ridiculous to refuse volunteer workers if they don’t pay to ‘volunteer.’ If good people like you are willing to give of their time and care enough about their state to save it’s shorelines, beaches and wildlife, why make them PAY to do it. I saw a report on MSNBC today where many Pensacola volunteers were cleaning up the beaches and NONE of them were wearing any special gear; just shorts and T-shirts; no special clothing, gear or equipment – not even masks or goggles. They did have on blue rubber gloves, but that was the extent of it. Go figure!
PattiParticipantUpdated list adds her returning June 23rd. Also, there is a notation stating that these dates may be one day off due to scheduled pre-emptions. Here’s another interesting notation; Alice’s actual funeral will be off-screen. Only the memorial service will be shown. Shame on you Days!
PattiParticipant– Melissa Reeves (Jennifer) – June 10th
– Maree Cheatham (Marie) – June 11th
– Jaime Lyn Bauer (Laura) – June 15th
– John Martin (Bill) – June 15th
– Mary Beth Evans (Kayla) – June 18th

I thought Patsy was returning as Kimberly, but she was not listed on final list. Maybe the actress is ill, or maybe she is not included because of the storyline involving her Leukemia and Bo going to donate his bone marrow. In any case, she was not on the final list of returnees.

PattiParticipantand let’s not forget the park and it’s one bench. I swear, some days I feel like I’m still watching Ryan’s Hope.
PattiParticipantbecause I, for one, will be shocked if this wedding ever takes place.
PattiParticipantwhich I’m almost positive something will go awry with this ridiculous plan, you can be sure Vivian will be nowhere in sight, assuring herself an airtight alibi. If we thought Chloe was on the brink of insanity before, this attempt, if successful, will surely drive her completely insane. At the risk of repeating myself, the writing for this show is going downhill at an enormous rate of speed.
PattiParticipantCiera took the wallets. Question now is how long before Bo finds them and puts two and two together and figures it all out. Soon, I hope.
PattiParticipantand I hope E.J. really puts the screws to Nicole. As for your other points, I posted on another thread that none of these people have any reason to throw stones at anyone, regardless of the reason. From infidelity to attempted murder, they have ALL had their own sinister plots, and some even carried out. As for Sami and E.J., no, I’ll never go there, because I do believe she is far better off with Rafe and co-parenting her children with their respective dads, but that’s it for me. This is the E.J. I could fall in love with, although I must admit that I do like him just a little bad. As for Vivian, she is so damaged that her mind is practically gone completely. She needs to stop trying to kill everyone off and concentrate on being, as she so justly reminded everyone, the "current" Mrs. Victor Kiriakis. Stop the games Vivian and take full advantage of that luxury. You’ll be much better off for it in the long run. Then there’s Stephanie Johnson, a waste of a character as far as I’m concerned. Cut her loose. Nicole is at least witty and sometimes downright funny with her deception and devious plotting. Right now I just want her to get caught, and I want E.J. to be the one who traps her in her own game. But Arianna Zuker makes you love Nicole Walker, whether you hate her or not, and right now I can’t stand her. Did that make any sense?
PattiParticipantChloe is an idiot! She should tell Daniel herself exactly what happened, when, where, how, why and with whom she betrayed him. Get it out in the open and stop the insanity around her, which is only driving her more and more over the edge. She’s about to team up with someone who will put her in deeper than she already is, and if she can’t see this, then she will fail miserably, not only as a wife to Daniel, but to the most important person of all…herself. She’s doomed if she keeps trying to cover this up. Same for Phillip, IMO. Personally, I would want to know that my fiance cheated on me, very recently, I might add, with my daughter’s husband, but hey, that’s me. But, more on point, NO ONE, perhaps with the exception of Maggie Horton, has any right to condemn Chloe, Phillip, or even Stephanie (and I can’t stand that girl) without first taking a good look inside their own heart and soul. Talk about infidelity running rampant and those condemning the accused …. it’s the biggest joke on all message boards lately. The writers are getting sloppy again, and it sure is showing in these idiotic plots. And, while you’re at it, please take Saint Nicole out of my face … Bah … I’m getting sick of it all.
PattiParticipantand I have decided that all it was, like it or not, was a writer’s poor attempt to receive credit for a "line of the day" award, and not related to any political agenda. I guess everybody reads into it what they want to believe, depending on their own feelings toward the one being slammed, and that’s fine, but whether you or your source of information leans toward the left, right or middle, that line was not intended to make a political statement AT ALL. It was meant to be funny …. to some it was …. to others not so much. In any case it obviously failed miserably. So take heed writers, or you’ll be feeling the heat more often than not with that sort of attempt at humor. Frankly, I don’t give a damn who they slam. Once you’re in the public eye you put yourself out there for the public to critique with every word you utter, good, bad or indifferent. Personally, I take pride in the fact that my mind is made up by ME, and not overly influenced by any individual, whether they be a television personality, commentator, political analyst, television station or news network. The final choice is MINE.
