if for no other reason than the fact that they’re two of a kind. There is no deed dastardly enough for them to consider reeking upon anyone, including their own children. Stefano keeps his under his thumb, and Kate kills hers with interfering in their lives. But, together they are probably one of THE most entertaining couples right now. I love the way Kate knows exactly how to appease Stefano, when to speak, and when to shut up. She knows all too well that as long as she does what she is told, she is Queen of the mansion, and she knows how to play her cards well. E.J. on the other hand is competing, or trying to anyway, with Stefano in the "do as I say, not as I do" department. What I’m seeing now is junior has jumped back in with both feet, doing whatever he can to stay on Stefano’s good side, even running the business errands when he is told. I had to give Sami a lot of credit for standing her ground with the old man today, but Kate’s line about the Brownies was funny, even though I would have loved to have had E.J. walk in and hear her say it.
What an inspiration you both are, and I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that we are all very proud of you phenomenal ladies.
maybe not a return of Princes Gina, but certainly some sort of alteration to her memory and personality. I watched a spoiler scene where she came in after dark and was talking to Ciera, who she left alone (nice going Hope). The hairstyle and make-up reminded me of her Princess Gina days exactly. She’s going to get addicted to pills (Nick Fallon recycled sl) and change into someone else entirely. Might be interesting to see Hope play a ‘real’ bad girl for a change. Her character has been self-righteous way too long now, and for everything she and Bo have gone through since Carly arrived on the scene, it wouldn’t be hard for me to believe that she gets addicted to pills and finally snaps. I’m sort of looking forward to this storyline, plus what all of this will do to poor little Ciera.
I’m a huge "Young Frankenstein" fan. When Sami referred to Kate as ‘Frau Blucher,’ I almost expected to hear the horses whinny in the background. Loved it!
on down, especially whoever was director that day. It made me scratch my head saying ‘huh’ too. This happens a lot in scenes where one frame just doesn’t make sense leading into the next. I don’t know if it’s editing, directing, or whatever, but it reflects on the show in a bad way, and that I don’t like.
friends at some point down the road? If they both decide to stay with the job after realizing they will have to work together, then I see a gradual let-up on the one-ups they give each other now. I do agree, Ari can give as good as she gets, and Nicole knows it. That’s why she keeps throwing Brady in her face, but Ari’s not buying it. However, I do expect the fur will be flying the first few weeks. And, while we’re on the subject, would someone please explain to me where Phillip’s head is offering her a position for which she has absolutely no credentials whatsoever? She has absolutely no qualifications for this job. Roving Reporter………wouldn’t that require some sort of communications degree or something similar? Maybe Phillip just liked the way she looked in that top, too!
are absolutely gorgeous people. I just don’t know why wardrobe and make-up has gotten so extreme lately, especially with hairstyles and outfits. Kate has always been outlandish, as is Vivian; but, the only two people I think look great, head to toe, are Hope and Ariana. Even the men are given these ridiculous hairstyles, too much gel, no shine to their hair, and the mobster suits that don’t fit properly (E.J.) are too much to bear. Most of these people would look good in a potato sack, but that doesn’t have to mean they look so unkempt most days. For a while there Chloe looked like a walking advertisement for ‘puppies on parade’.
I have never, ever been able to see the attraction in Andrew, vocal or otherwise; Katie is a beautiful young girl (kinda’ reminds me of our Stephanie a little), but her performances left me saying….. meh! I like this kid Aaron, but watching him and hearing him are two entirely different experiences for me. I know he’s only 16, but he should have learned something about stage presence by now. Tim, sorry young man, but you are probably next on the chopping block. I did like it when Ryan reminded the audience before announcing Andrew was going home that one of the contestants was definitely NOT even in the bottom 3 this week, which was Michael Lynch (Big Mike). Little too cocky on stage, but looks like he had a big slice of humble pie this week. Not nearly as sure of himself, though I’m still rooting for him and Crystal in the finals. I just wish Crystal would step out of her 60’s flower-child appearance and more into today’s. Sorry, but her look is horrid to me. And she has such a pretty face.
I found I had to keep asking myself everytime she showed up on screed ………….. WHO IN THE HELL CUT YOUR BANGS???? (lol)
supposedly he wasn’t dead (remember the twitching finger in his last scene?). The better question is ‘who saved him and where has he been all of this time’ ….. no, don’t tell me ….. in Stefano’s cellar. But, that was destroyed, wasn’t it? Oh well, maybe he had it rebuilt during renovations to DeMansion. Where in the hell did Rolf go, anyway?
Stefano may attempt to be nice to Sami, but she out and out rejects him. The only reason, of course, would be that E.J. has threatened to walk out on Stefano once again if he hurts Sami in any way whatsoever, and all Stefano cares about is having E.J. and the children back under his roof, and this time has no intention of losing them; so, if that means playing nice with Sami, then that’s what he’ll do ….. for now.
to bring Carly and Dan closer together. Seems his double vision comes and goes at will; however, it would definitely interfere with his career as a "renowned" surgeon, sooooooo, my guess is Carly will operate on Daniel, it will be a complete success, his normal vision will be restored, and the good doctors will be indebted to each other once again; he to her for saving his sight, and her to him for being there for their daughter. And, where will this put Chloe and Bo … back where they belong … with Phillip and Hope. I hope they settle down with all of this changing of partners we’re seeing lately. It’s becoming difficult to realize who’s sleeping in who’s bed, whether they belong there or not.
is the stranger here. Even when he was with Stephanie, he was more himself. Why does anyone think she was always trying to change him. He and Melanie will never last, but I don’t know if he will be willing to just give her up to Nathan if that’s where the writers are going. I think Phillip is very, very possessive….very much like E.J…..and I don’t see him giving up on anything he truly wants, and right now that’s Melanie. Anyway, the Phillip we are seeing now is the one I am having difficulty recognizing.
