packed by either their moms or by me (since moms work and I take them to school anyway).  They do not care for the school lunches and claim they are "gross" (their word).  We try to pack lunches that are high in nutrition, with not too many calories.  Childhood obesity is definitely on the rise, and the children in this country are becoming its latest victims.  I see some of these kids at their schools, and it’s tough to realize that they are definitely headed for some major health problems down the road.  I’ve watched Jamie Oliver’s show and think it’s wonderful what he is trying to do, but he is facing a generation of people set in their ways; and, consequently, we are all products of our environment.  It is up to the adults in a child’s life to care for their health and welfare, and proper diet is a major factor in leading them in the right direction; so, I give him all the credit in the world for bringing awareness into peoples’ lives.  I hope he succeeds.

but after this year, I don’t think it will survive for another year.  Now I’m really split between DWTS and, of all things to believe, TOP CHEF.  Last season both brothers in the final were originally from Maryland, one still residing here and owning his own restaurant in Frederick County; the other (the winner) is now out on the West Coast, I believe.  In any case, I love that show and each week it amazes me to see the great top chefs from around the world judging their work habits as well as their dishes.  It also is inconceivable to me to see how these young contestants (still chefs themselves) adapt (and some NOT) in such a sort period of time, sometimes with ingredients they’ve never used before, racing against the clock and coming up with THE most amazing dishes.  Each week the contestant with the least impressive creation goes home.  Can you tell, I love to cook??? (LOL)

because it appeared he slipped on the ice, his feet went from under him, he flew up in the air, and then fell backwards, which should have caused him to hit or split the BACK of his head, knocking him unconscious.  So…. how did he wind up cutting the front of his head, or forehead?  I mean, did he slip on the ice, leave his feet, then twirl around in the air so as to  come down on his forehead (hitting maybe a jagged rock, of course), THEN, knock himself out, THEN roll over on his back (cause we know two medical professionals would have known not to move him)?  Guess it’s possible, I mean, I’m just sayin’ ….. (LOL)

cause I’m right there with you!  It’s about time E.J. got a dose of his own medicine.

she would never let herself be influenced by someone like Victor unless or until she was absolutely 100% positive that he had turned over a new leaf, rid himself of all criminal activities, and turned into a decent, loving, law abiding person.  NAAAAHHHHHH, never happen! LOL

By the way, what ever happened to Maggie’s illness and symptoms of her MG?  Did it miraculously go into remission again?  I haven’t seen her even slightly bothered by it at all in any of her scenes over the last week or two.

but she should be afraid; she should be very afraid, especially when E.J.’s scheme is revealed.  But, it won’t be Nicole he’ll have to worry about, it will be Stefano.  I’m really looking forward to Stefano showing his true colors once again.  He’s been somewhat of a pussycat for some time now, at least where E.J.’s out of control demands are concerned.  Well, Stefano  just sat back biding his time, and now that time has come.  Time for him to gain control of his ‘bloody little bastaaaad’ (lol) and take care of Anna at the same time.  Yeah…..you go get em’ Steffie, show Junior who the REAL master of the house is.  I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if he didn’t also know that Anna jumped into bed with the Governor to get Nicole out of jail.  Yes indeed, I can’t wait for this week’s show when hopefully it all hits the fan for E.J., Anna, and Nicole as well.

and she never will.   This storyline has been one of disgust and disappointment to me from the very beginning.  Best part about it now that it’s almost over is everyone who was waiting with baited breath for Nicole’s return will now see the REAL Nicole Walker return.  The drunk, the manipulator, the user; and a true-blue interloper who goes after anything in pants that can benefit her needs….ha ha …. personally, I can’t wait for it to happen.  Should have been a little nicer to E.J., cause she’s just like him; a match made in Hades.   I was really hoping that the queen and King Cobra would reunite and slither out of Salem together at some point close in time.  But, man-oh-man, instead, Brady Black, you should be walking around with a sign on your back saying "KICK ME, I’M STUPID."  By the way, Nicole’s got a bridge she wants to sell you … LOLOL!

but Bryan will return for Alice’s passing/funeral.  I don’t know how long they will have him staying around, but some vets will return for as much as up to 10 episodes.  I most certainly hope Bryan is one of them.  Maybe he can talk some sense into Sami where E.J. is concerned.

when he grabbed Nicole’s wrist yesterday and practically slammed it to the table, it should have shown her just what she will be in for if she dares to go up against him.  I just wish he would slither out of town.

you’re talking about Passions and I’m talking about DOOL.  Either way, JER, may God rest his soul, could be a sick puppy with his writings at times.  I remember that storyline on Passions, and you are absolutely correct — that was the worst imaginable!

so she gets an A+ in that department; but, sometimes she delivers her lines as if she were in a trance.  No, I don’t care for the weeping, screaming, facial distortions we see in Molly (Melanie) every time she is on screen, and Sami runs hot and cold, but Ali Sweeney would be the only one who could pull the two transitions off so well.  Alison is the one who is great at her craft, IMO.  She is the one true actress in that she can make me love/hate/praise/condemn her at, all at the same time.  At least for me she does.  There are days when I absolutely despise Sami, and then I turn around the following week and find myself praising her.  That’s not being fickle on my part; that’s terrific acting on Ali’s.  However, Nadia can be a snooze-fest in her line delivery and blank stares at times.  I thought for a while she was improving and showing some signs of life; but, alas, she’s back to being an insecure meltdown once again, which is when Nadia’s acting is at its worse, IMO.  Too bad, cause she is a natural beauty and should have everyone in love with her.  Unfortunately, NOT!

If you didn’t go this week, I would have had to stop watching.  Tim will last a while because he’s cute and cuddly and the tweens choice this year, but look out, not just you, Tim, but Anthony as well; I don’t think they’ll be holding off on either one of you being next to go too much longer.

it showed two extremely talented actresses on different levels; torment to comedy; hatred to understanding; but mostly that raw, in-your-face truism on both parts, i.e., Sami and Nicole both gave each other a taste of realism.  Loved every minute of it.  Kudos to Ari and Ali, and to the make-up artist(s) as well.  Boy, not only did the actors make it look real, but make-up did as well.  Well done!

between Arianna and E.J.; and, let’s face it, Nicole is never ever going to allow Ari and Brady to be happy.  Frankly, the way Brady is sneaking behind Ari’s back and still calling Nicole (and it’s going to get worse I’d be willing to bet), the last thing she needs is a beloved infidel, IMO.  I like Ari, although I know a lot of you don’t.  She is beautiful, and she has a lot of spunk and I like that about her.  I hope Brady doesn’t use her love for him as his excuse to keep getting away with fooling her by continuously giving in to Nicole’s pity party.  As for E.J. and Arianna, I would like to see them given more scenes to determine if they could possibly connect.  James has chemistry with just about everyone and anyone in the female department, two to toothless, blind, crippled or crazy, and Ari is, well, veeeerrrrryyyyy pretty, IMHO, and it would seem she would not take any crap from him either.  They seem to have a friendly connection already.  I liked their scene in the gym when she told him Nicole was back.  Now, I’d like to see them take it a little further.  As always, JMHO.
