PattiParticipant
and it would appear from yesterday’s performance that Sami is on to him and his ways when she questioned whether or not he was, in fact, trying to keep her and Rafe apart. God knows, she should know him by now. The one I’m still thinking will be the loose cannon here is Stefano. He will be determined not only to take junior down, but to get control of Sydney. I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if him and Kate don’t make a plan of their own. In the meantime, Nicole will definitely play some part in getting revenge, but I don’t think it will be to get Sydney back. She seemed to be genuine in hurting Sami by what she did, and toward the end she really did try to do the right thing. No, I think her revenge will be on Anna, and what better way to kill two birds with one stone than to remember those damn ugly boots and who they belonged to, and then realize that she was working with E.J. all the while. I would love to see her come back full of fire and brimstone and be the one to blow this whole plot up right in Anna’s and E.J.’s faces. But, I’m not counting out little Johnny to unintentionally give E.J. up either. Who tells a 4-year not to believe anything he hears about his baby sister’s disappearance and that whatever he hears is not true, and then not expect the child to repeat it somewhere down the road. I can’t wait for the walls to start closing in on E.J. and Anna, too. It’s like the story they have going on right now on Y&R with Adam Newman….too many people will start putting the clues together until sooner or later the rats will swallow the bait.
PattiParticipantMelanie said to Nate, "to think I’ve spent the last 18 years being raised in hell when I could have spent the last 18 years with him," so now she’s 18. That’s what I was thinking she was, because when she first came on the scene she was still in high school. No wonder Phillip looks so bad with her.
PattiParticipantthey were very disappointing this year. I was really disappointed in Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin. I was expecting them to be hilarious and they were anything but; that, plus all the loud clapping right into the microphones by the hosts as well as the presenters was a distraction for me. Didn’t care for it at all, and, as far as I can determine, George Clooney is just a pompous ass who thinks he’s a whole lot better than he truly is.
PattiParticipantI’m also thinking she will be one of the ‘vets’ returning for Alice’s funeral, which is when we can probably expect Bo’s return as well.
PattiParticipantfrom what I have been reading, there is a story where it becomes evident that Alice falls very ill and this will lead into her death for May sweeps. Lots of vets coming back. I read that TPTB have already made a deal with the short return of Melissa Reeves (Jennifer), and that KC was hoping that Deidra Hall would make a return, but I don’t see that one happening. Others will return, but they haven’s announced who as yet. But, there will be a May sweeps story to go with Alice’s passing.
PattiParticipanthas been nothing more than Satan dangling the apple in front of Eve; or, in this case, Sami. I don’t believe she has any feelings for E.J., and she’s been known to show it vehemently when she talks to or about him. But, let’s face it, right now he’s her shining star, her "hero" as she called him, and Rafe has ‘talked’ good game, but he’s been unable to deliver, because there was never a delivery to be made. E.J. saw to that. It’s E.J. that fascinates me right now, and certainly not in a good way. He’s turned into a delusional obsessed maniac where Sami is concerned. All that crap about leaving the country with Sydney and Johnny, never allowing Sami to see her children again, was a load of bullshi*, which is all E.J. has ever been. Know what I wish the writers would do……I wish they would give Stefano back his gonads and let him take over where E.J. is concerned. Put some life back into the old boy and let him grab junior by the ear the way he (E.J.) grabbed Chad that one time. Put him in his place. Stefano and Kate together, with the help of their minions, could probably take down the Al Queda; instead he allows E.J. to speak to him as well as to his wife as if they were dirt. C’mon, Stefano, get with the program and show your ungrateful brat who’s boss. Now that I’d love to see. As for Sami, on the one hand I feel sorry for her because she is torn between the man she truly loves, being Rafe, and the father of her children who presently has control over all of their lives. But, we all know Sami…..it’s ‘what can you do for me, and how soon can you do it’. So, sniff him out, Rafe, and soon…….very soon…….drop the net on this storyline; then PLEEEEEEASE haul it away.
PattiParticipantSami may choose to live in the moment, and I wouldn’t blame her for it one bit; however, Rafe has to know and continue to investigate the Sydnapper. Of course, the whole scene was ridiculous to me. In one scene the Sydnapper is telling Sami that their ‘dawta’ is dead, then he takes a call from Rafe, asking where he is because he hears ‘horns’ in the background, Rafe reveals he and Sami are at the Pub, and in the next scene he’s waltzing into the Pub with Sydney like he just found her sitting on his doorstep. I cannot tell you how disappointed I will be if they don’t explain this to my satisfaction.
PattiParticipantthrough my thick skull is why would Anna want to get Nicole out of jail when Nicole can identify her voice and she’s already described the boots Anna was wearing when she took Syd. Oh, okay, I guess Anna doesn’t know that about Nicole yet. Boy, is she in for a big surprise.
PattiParticipantthat’s probably the way it will go down. I also think Anna knows the Governor, coming soon and being played by Stuart Damon, and she will get him involved on her behalf. I think that he will pardon Nicole. That’s how she will get out of jail, and I think Anna will be behind it.
PattiParticipantgive the children a substance to make them appear sleepy; I’m just saying I would hate to think that that would ever happen. They did appear very sleepy at times; then at other times they seemed agitated, reaching for their off-stage mommy. And, I know they have the strictest of rules for child actors regarding their hours of work; that’s why they use twins and, in some instances, triplets.
PattiParticipantshe had an ‘affair’ with a ‘colleague’ at a medical convention. Now I don’t know about anyone else, but an ‘affair’ means an on-going interlude between two consenting people, but from what I surmise from the later conversation between Dan and Carly is that it was nothing more than a one-night stand. They then decided it was over, became friends, and Carly then introduced Daniel to ‘her’ friend, Rebecca, who we know was Daniel’s wife. So, to me, a ‘one-nighter’ does NOT an ‘affair’ make. What’s even worse, a one-nighter and they didn’t use protection??? Stupid is as stupid does!
PattiParticipantbut, if truth be told, when the children are in scene after scene after scene with any one actor or actress, it is only natural that they would respond to that person more than any other actor in a scene. They do respond well to James and to LeAnn, as well as to Ari Z. Now, I’m sure at some point they will have them in more scenes with Ali, or I guess I should speak in show names, i.e., Sami, Rafe, Will, Roman, etc., so they will have to get used to a whole new set of actors. I also think that in some of their scenes, it does, in fact, look like whichever one is performing at that time is very sleepy, but I would absolutely HATE to believe that anything was given to her to keep her calm while they are taping. That would be horribly horribly wrong, IMO. Hopefully, she was just plain sleepy at the time.
PattiParticipantbefore he told anyone else. I mean I would be mad as hell, too, that she told Bo before she told him. Anyway, I think he tells Mel tomorrow.
PattiParticipantand I do remember Max not serving her when she asked for a drink in the bar because she wasn’t old enough. That was last year, so maybe they aged her then, but decided now to make her younger so it wouldn’t look outrageous that she could be Carly and Dan’s kid, even though, of course it is.
March 4, 2010 at 5:38 pm in reply to: I’d like to hear some feedback on American Idol talent this year. The earlier post was all about Howard Stern, so…. #11068PattiParticipantthe girls were worse than the guys. Honestly, if this is talent, then the show has definitely gone to the dogs, and the dogs are winning. So far, the best voices I’ve heard are the back-up singers.
