but unfortunately it’s not.  My street didn’t even see a snow plow until last week, and my lawn is still completely covered.  It has been very cold here, but the last few days it has warmed up into the high 30-s to mid 40’s, so we are getting some slow melting.  HOWEVER, guess what’s predicted for next week???  You guessed it……more snow.  It’s like the gift that keeps on giving, and frankly I wish the snow gods would take it back.

The country is proud of all of our athletes, but you are by far superb at what you do.  It’s our first men’s gold medal in figure skating since the 80’s; and, by the way, YOU DESERVED IT!!!!

DR is reporting that it should come to a head in about 2 more weeks (just about the time Nicole will be back on screen), and that’s exactly what E.J. is planning to do.  He decides that if he can’t get Sami back with his sick plan, that he will be her hero instead.  I wonder if he’ll bring Sydney back to Sami, and at the same time throw Anna under the bus.  I just hope it backfires and Rafe has it all figured out by then and can finally blow E.J. out of the water.  I also read something to the effect that Stefano becomes very aware that Rafe is onto something about E.J., so I’m guessing he’s going to get involved as well.  E.J. hasn’t been very son-like to Stefano and he can’t stand it, so now we have to ask….is he going to help E.J., or is he going to go on his own?  Also, what role will Nicole play in all of this?  Just hope it’s the end of it and we can all move on to something else.

and even less for Bo.  I’m almost to the point of hoping that Hope does move on with her life.  Bo is weak and when his marriage began to crumble, he immediately accepted Carly back into his life; hell, into his bed.  I am so disappointed in Bo Brady, even more-so than Carly and/or Hope.  As for Carly’s irrational behavior, let’s face it, what she feels for Melanie is not love…it’s guilt.  How can you love someone who has not been in your life for at least 18 years, even if that person is your child.  She didn’t even know what she looked like until she found her in Salem, and hadn’t bothered to find out before then.  All she had to go on was a baby picture.  Please….I’m not buying her "I’ve loved you since the day you were born" routine.  Plain and simple, she feels guilty for the way Melanie had to grow up; and, frankly, she should.  She’s been a coward and a horrible mother; and, well, let’s face it, Mel would have been better off without her, that’s for sure.  After all, Vivian’s real disdain was for Carly, not Melanie; that is until she found out Mel was Carly’s daughter.  Of course, 3 months from now they’ll all be sharing a Mother’s Day brunch together, telling each other how happy they are to be in each other’s lives.   Grrrrrrrr!

stating that "some" vets will be returning when they do actually write Alice’s death into the show, but he did not specify who they would be.  I’m going to guess one of them might be Jennifer, because her husband, Scott Reeves, is now on contract with General Hospital, and Melissa (Jen) said at one time that the only show she would consider returning to would be DOOL.  I also have a feeling that we might be seeing a brief return of Jack and Abby, but that’s just my guess; no names or dates were mentioned; just that a tribute will be paid to Frances Reid when they actually write her passing into the show, with the brief return of some familiar faces.

the explanations or reasoning behind E.J.’s master plan are outrageous, right down to his cold and seemingly uncaring reactions to the assumption that his daughter is dead.  The man didn’t shed a tear or show any grief.  That should have immediately raised a red flag for Rafe, and I’m sure it will at some point.  He has been suspecting E.J.’s and Anna’s involvement for a while now.  I just can’t help thinking what any father would have been like in that situation.  But not that scumbag; it’s all about payback with him and it’s about time DOOL made some of these villains walk the plank.  Seems at times all these writers want to do is see how much they can PI$$ the fans off (and it’s working).  I did think Ali did a terrific job yesterday.  Her grief was well acted out.  I don’t think she went over the top at all.  I think she showed what any NORMAL mother would show in that situation.  She made it look real.  I just hope that when all of this does come to an end and she finally realizes what E.J. did, she gives him one of those superb left hooks that she gave him after she married Lucas, right before they cart his sorry ass off to jail.

often more than foul … downright vulgar language, as well as his exploitation of the female anatomy, and females in general.  You can have the brain of Thomas Edison, but it doesn’t make you a likable individual if you have unfavorable or unsavory qualities that overshadow your intellect.  I think Howard Stern is in that category.  He has always, always exploited women, speaking of them in a very foul manner, and disguised it as comedy (at least on his show anyway), and it’s for that reason that I believe the general public would not accept him on a very popular, highly rated reality show that, let’s face it, millions of young people DO  watch.  Where do you think most of the votes come from?  If it ever did happen, I’m sure he would have to sign some sort of agreement to tone his comments down considerably, and I’m not so sure he could ever do that when he is put in the position of critiquing these young people.
