coming down heavy.  We’re getting 2" per hour.  Right now we’re up to 2 feet and counting, and it’s expected to keep snowing through the night into tomorrow a.m.  This is the mother of all storms.  Thank God, we still have power in my county.  OMG, I just realized something; I can only see the top of my car!  Definitely the storm of the decades here in Chesapeake Bay country.  I live on a side street in the county, and I’ve only seen one snow plow go by all day.   Good thing I went food and necessity shopping yesterday morning.  I have a feeling I’m going to be penned in here until at least Monday.  Just heard they are clearing one air strip at BWI for the Bears flight to Baltimore, but no word yet as to whether or not the game will still be scheduled for Sunday or Monday night.  My neighbor has been out 4 times today with his snow-blower.  Looks like he finally gave up for the night.  With 2" every hour, it’s just wasted gasoline!  LOL!

can’t wait to see those adoreable kids.  I’ve seen pictures of EM’s twins, as well as Lindsay and Justin Hartley’s daughter, Isabella, but not CC and MS’s boys.  I’ll also be looking forward to that, for sure.  This is one way some of our favorite actors have a chance to show their kids off to the fans.

now we’re looking at 20-30", and they’re still not sure that’s all we’ll be getting, so look out SW, cuz’ it’s definitely heading in your direction.  Plus, as if that isn’t going to be enough, there are two more storms behind this one, one expected for Christmas day.  I don’t remember when it last snowed on Christmas here in Maryland, but looks like we are, indeed, heading for a White Christmas!!  Right now, my biggest worry is that the Bears can’t get a flight out of Chicago tonight and into BWI in time to play my beloved Ravens on Sunday.  They may have to postpone the game and make it a Monday Night double-header.  They’re still up in the air on that one (no pun intended)! LOL!

are exploring the possibility of Ariana and E.J., and it has to be said, Brady is beginning to bore me to tears.  As much as I loved him at first, he’s starting to just sound a little too "bitchy" for me right now, and this constant defense of Nicole makes me want to just slap him hard across the face and say: "WAKE UP, IDIOT!"  That, plus:  "Maybe you should go live in a water treatment facility, because you sure do like being *HIT on."  Ari and E.J. I will be keeping a close eye on, because I think they are going to be seeing a lot more of each other, and who knows where it will lead.  As for Roman, there’s only one person I would like to see him with, and that’s Anna.  Maybe if Leanne sticks around after Sydney is returned, the writers will finally see what a good match she is with Roman Brady.

money!  Whoever convinced her to do this had to know where she even was to begin with.  Who would know Anna that well to have kept track of her whereabouts and at the same time make her an offer she couldn’t refuse.  Anna loved Tony, but she has always been a material girl, so whoever talked her into this has to have enough power and money to convince her it would be well worth her while, AND that she would be protected.  Then, again, Tony and Anna have always been closely connected to the Bradys, especially Sami and her immediate family.  I can’t imagine Anna working with Kate and torturing Sami like this.  No, Kate may be a suspect, but I don’t think that’s who it is either.  Although, I must admit, I will enjoy seeing Sami "lunge" at Kate.  Hopefully, she connects.

because fans tend to lost interest in a family who just wanders into their little town of Salem, completely unknown to anyone, and suddenly becomes a ‘major’ character in an on-going even more major storyline, well, we just don’t seem to care about them.  And, that’s what has happened with the Hernandezes.   They are butting into lives of people we know and love, and yet we still know very little about the siblings or their parents.   I know one thing for sure, and that’s that I absolutely love Rafe and Sami, but Ari and Brady are beginning to bore me.  Now, I did see some interesting tension between Ari and E.J., but the only thing I can say about Gabbi is the writers are really screwing this teen over with bad writing.  Who does what she does at, what, 16?  Nobody, unless you’re a runaway, and even then, if it can’t be explained logically, then don’t say or use it in a storyline.  Right now Gabbi is a bust for me as well.  But, we can all pose questions and/or suggestions til’ the cows come home, but if these writers choose not to explain the mystery surrounding the Hernandez family, I’m afraid fans will continue to feel disjointed from them.  By the way, I thought Rafe was a little over-the-top with what he did to Stefano, but like he said, "LIKE HE GIVES A DAMN."  I can’t believe so many are finding fault with the legalities of what Rafe is doing compared to what Stefano, E.J., and other like them have done.  He (Rafe) DOESN’T CARE how it looks, or to whom.  I think he is great to look after Sami the way that he does, and his intentions are honorable where Sydney is concerned, even though he knows what the consequences may cause him.  Kudos, Rafe.  It’s nice to have a genuine good guy around for a change.

Thanksgiving, and she will air through the first week in January; but, even though they stated she would be on maternity leave for seven weeks originally, it doesn’t look like she’s going to be gone that long on the air.  I also read some articles that she taped scenes in advance.  Hope Ari can tear herself away from that new, FIRST baby.  It’s easier said than done.

would wear those buck-ugly boots?  No one except for Anna.  I don’t think even Kate would be caught dead in those.

a person of interest, I’m sure.  I don’t think Rafe will leave any stone unturned on his list of suspects.  I wouldn’t put it past Kate to be involved.  She continues to wiggle out of any jam she gets herself into, so why not this one as well?  Although, one would think she would have enough on her plate right about now with Vivian’s presence.

It depends on the state.  In most states If you are recording someone without their knowledge you are violating the wiretapping law and may be subject to fines and/or even jail time, depending on the state law, or you can expose yourself to a civil lawsuit (see California wiretapping laws, as an example of state law).

Maybe somebody should have given Linda Tripp a "heads-up" when she decided to tape her telephone conversations with Monica Lewinsky.  Sure, she did a lot of damage, but in the end she lost practically everything she owned.

she’ll have coming to her from Stefano and E.J.  I can almost see beyond E.J.’s threats due to his mixed emotions where Nicole is concerned.  On the one hand, he did seem to have fallen in love with her, but can that love ever be regained?  I wouldn’t think so, but I do love Nicole and E.J. as a couple.  Now, Stefano, on the other hand, has nothing but contempt for Nicole at this point.  Not only has she cost him his son and grandchild, but she has proven him to be just as big a liar and betrayer in E.J.’s eyes as Nicole, herself, was.  Stefano did his very best to keep his affiliation with Nicole from E.J., and now that he his part in the deception has been proven, I’m worried that at some point, Nicole will pay the price for it.  We all know Stefano can get to people, even if they are in jail.  I’m looking forward to how the writers will deal Ari’s continuing story, but I have a feeling it will involve Brady rather than E.J.

karaoke night on GH, both times, was the best thing I had seen there in a long time.  It really was fun to watch the actors display another part of their talent … well, some of them, anyway.  I was shocked at how good Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) was when he sang for real.

Oops, sorry, meant to post this as a reply to next poster’s comment re GH.

    At a Glance

One of two remaining original cast members, John Clarke has portrayed attorney Mickey Horton on ‘Days of our Lives’ since the series premiere in November 1965. His additional television credits include featured roles on the series Hart to Hart in the film It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.

Clarke was born in South Bend, Indiana. As the son of a U.S. Army officer, Clarke has lived in 20 states, and he graduated from high school while in Tokyo. He earned a Bachelor of Arts and in television arts from UCLA. After leaving university he served as a sergeant in the army when he went overseas for the Korean War.

He has been married to ballet dancer Patricia (Patty) for over 30 years, and the two had three children together…Joshua, Melinda (Mindy), and Heidi. Tragedy struck when Heidi died from a rare heart tumor in 1994, and the family has established a scholarship fund in her memory at the California Institute of the Arts. In his spare time, he enjoys riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. His birthday is April 14, 1932.

John Clarke shocked all the fans when he announced in early 2004 that he was retiring from the role of Mickey Horton to stay at home and spend more time with his family, including Melinda’s young daughter, Kathryn Grace.
