so we’ll still see her around through December, which will, no doubt, set the plot for some sort of Christmas miracle, I’m supposing.  Her maternity leave is scheduled to be seven weeks, so, depending on when her baby is born, she’ll be out for seven weeks and then return, I’m figuring sometime in early February, which will mean we’ll probably not see her on screen again until late March, early April.  If she taped any scenes in advance of her leave, I don’t remember reading about it.

Whether those streaks and/or highlights are real or not, they are not the least bit flattering to Lauren Koslow, who, despite how much I dislike Kate Roberts, is a very attractive woman.  Her hair should be put back to one color and styled.  I think she would look 100% better.  Maybe they think they need to match the hair to the character.  In that case, they are doing a brilliant job … IT’S GHASTLY! (LOL)

No one does it as well as Kate Roberts.  In addition to her now ever so NOT devoted stepson, E.J., which, by the way, that picture of him having his way with Kate on her desk will never leave my mind (puke); as far as the Carly/Lawrence/Nicholas family is concerned, can anyone remember the sordid love affair Nicholas had with Kate Roberts as well????  Talk about ewwww; I mean Nicky Alamain should be around Shawn D.’s age, but after trying to help his Auntie Viv when she was married to Stefano, Nikki decided to help himself to Kate as well.  Uggghhhh.  So whether Carly’s daughter winds up being Mia or Melanie (although I do believe it will be Melanie), the poor will have somewhat of a sordid family tree of her own.  (LOL)!

So far that’s the way I see her.  She should be answering some questions posed by Rafe and Ariana, not asking them.  Did she really expect any answers with her "yeah, I know, I’m just a kid" line.  Hello…hell, yeah you are.  And, from the looks of things, she’s going to need all the help she can from her big sis and bro, because from the way she’s starting out, she’s heading for trouble.  I’m just trying to figure out if they’re going to put her with Will or with Chad, because we all know that as soon as someone new comes on board, these writers have to immediately pair them up with someone.  I think it might be will, because he’ll probably be ripping her apart once he learns she helped Nicole escape.  How stupid was Nicole to insist she take that bracelet, when it will probably be recognized by E.J. once he sees it.  Anyway, right now Gabby is annoying as all hell to me, but if I have to choose who’s the better actor here, she seems to have it all over both Mia and Will, although I think Casey is the best out of the teen set.  Please, please, please, give him some scenes with Molly.  I think they would shine together.

What I’ve read is that Carly’s daughter is Melanie, but the father is NOT Trent.  She will explain to Bo, in today’s show, maybe, that she had an affair with a doctor at a medical convention in Europe, and got pregnant.  When Lawrence found out about it, he made her give the baby up to "a man" so I’m thinking baby selling or something along those lines.  Now, somehow, she finds out her child is in Salem, Lawrence finds out she is trying to find it, and the rest is pretty much up to date with where we are now.  Fact is, I think the child is Melanie, and still speculating that Daniel will be the father, although there’s no spoiler out there about that part.  I just remember reading somewhere that Daniel will somehow be involved in the Bo/Hope/Carly storyline at some point, so I’m speculating that Daniel may possibly be the father of a teenager, but soaps.com has already reported that the daughter will, in fact, be Melanie.  I’m really looking forward to this storyline.  No offense to the actress who plays Mia, but she could not possibly handle this role as well as Molly, and I think when this can of worms is opened in another week or two, CC and MB will rock their scenes together.
