I heard the same thing.  There was even a post from Carlivati on my DOOL spoiler alerts on my phone that said basically the same thing.  Supposedly, something "BIG" is supposed to happen at year end, maybe like New Year’s Eve, so I will at least be sticking around until then.  Believe me, the last thing I want to do is leave a soap I have been with since it started, but I have never, ever felt like I do now about what was my all time favorite soap, and I blame it all on poor writing.  Again, I am sorry to say that I think Carlivati is as bad a writer as they come, and many have come and gone on DOOL!

I would love to see him put it on, but that’s doubtful.  What a blessing that would be!

when I have to fast-forward more of a show than watch, it tells me that I am wasting one precious hour of my life every day it is on the air, and I don’t know how much I can, or even want to, do this.  If I don’t see a vast improvement by year end, my holiday wishes to each and every one of you may be the last you hear from me.   I am just not willing to watch something I do not enjoy watching, no matter how long it’s been on the air.

and a loss for the Patriots gives us the #1 spot for now, and hopefully we can keep it going in December.  What a game!  Granted, we may not have piled on the points as we have in recent wins,  and Lamar may not have dazzled the 49ers with a slew of new records, and the deluge we had to play in may have kept both teams from playing their best, buy hey, the W at the end of the game, thanks to our glorious kicker, Justin Tucker, kept us red hot against a team that under normal circumstances was every bit as deserving of the win as we were.  Fabulous team, those 49ers, who came out of the tunnel just as good, just as confident, and just as tough, making this a championship-like game on both sides of the ball.  There were so many little things that kept us in the game that I would get tired of typing and you would get tired of reading; so I’ll just say that as far as this fan is concerned, at the start these two terrific teams were dead even and the challenge became finding a way to win.  So lo and behold, it is no surprise to us that once again, as so many times in our past, our unsurpassed kicker, Justin Tucker, was the hero of the game with a field goal for the win!  Wow, get ready for us Casey, because we are coming to a possible snow-ridden field to play a very difficult team in probably another sloppy weather situation once again, where I have to say, as I did before the start of our game with the 49ers, may the best team win!  Looking forward to our match-up and how our teams handle each other by being resourceful enough to make the plays that will make the difference.  Gonna’ be another nail-biter, I’m sure!!!

unfortunately, until the NFL sets some standards or guidelines for referees, improper penalties because of a refs calls, which cannot in many cases be challenged, will not change.  It is a major bruise against some of the decisions made in football.  I think there will be an overview of some of this seasons rule changes, such as what designates pass interference, whether it be offensive or defensive.  The NFL has given the referees a little too much power on some calls in many of those situations, because even if it is challenged, it usually stands with the referee’s call on the field.  We’ve all seen even some of the blatent ones get denied.  So, I hope it’s something that the NFL will seriously look at for next year, especially with pass interference and also the helmut to helmut and hands to the face rules.

The Bills are going to be a force to be reckoned with, at least for those of us in the running this season.  Josh Allen is really coming into his game, and I agree with you, powerpaws, Garret’s job is questionable at best.  The Cowboys owner did not looked pleased, and he does not like to see what has been happening with his team.  In any case, Casey, after this Sunday (12/1) and what will hopefully be a win for the Ravens, I am really looking forward to the following week (12/8) when our teams (the Bills and the Ravens) match up.  No sense in saying "good luck" to each other, right, since we both know who we will be rooting for (LOL), so I’ll just say I’m looking forward to a great match-up between the Bills and the Ravens.  I will say it’s going to be a real treat watching two extremely talented teams with two of this seasons up and coming star QBs showing us their skills.  Some great football coming up for December!

but I will admit, I never expected it would be with Steve Johnson.  Nice to see him without the patch.  Obviously, Rolf and his brain washing syrum now has Steve believing he is Stefano.  No wonder he wanted to divorce Kayla.  Hope they show that backstory.

too bad it doesn’t apply for what to me is lazy writing.  I have never been a fan of Carlivati, although I realize a lot of you are.  His and his staff’s storylines have me fast-forwarding much more than I would like to on Days.

"This Is Us" is one of my favorite shows on TV, along with "A Million Little Things."  I just wish the writers of DOOL were as creative with their SLs as they were on TIU and AMLT.  However, as soon as I understood and now follow the Time Jump, I can certainly see the resumblance to the very popular prime-time soap, TIU.  I just hope they can have the same success, but I find that hard to believe because we’re comparing a completely different type of acting ability between the actors and the writers on TIU and AMLT compared to the actors and the writing on DOOL.  To me, prime time soaps excel far above and beyond daytime soaps.  There’s just no comparison.  JMO!

and get more impressive each week.  Lamar is outstanding, but he does make me nervous with some of the chances he takes….sometimes I even have to close my eyes during one of his spectacular runs until I think it’s over, just to make sure he gets up!  LOL!  I do love the fact that either he or Harbs or someone above keeps him safe for now, and pulling him in the 4th quarter when we have a substantial lead is the best medicine for preserving his health until the next game.  I honestly think this kid believes he can’t be hurt, so please, whoever is watching over him, continue to protect this amazingly talented young man.

I don’t know how many records Lamar has set or broke so far, but he is on his way.  Now all I hear are chants of "MVP" as soon as he walks out of the tunnel, no matter who we’re playing.  It happened again last night.  Either we had a lot of Baltimore fans at the game, or tons of Vegas fans all rooting for the Ravens, since more money comes in on the Ravens than most teams in Las Vegas, especially when we’re playing a popular winning competitor fighting for their chance to make the playoffs.  Looks like they made a bundle last night!

Ramsey and Peters almost got into a scuffle at the end of the game, and I don’t know how many people saw it, but when we were walking off after the win, these two were going at it, and all I can bet is that Ramsey was just a bit jealous of the Ravens getting Marc Peters from the Rams.  Thankfully, no hands laid on one another, but definitely some friction came out between them which if anyone could read lips would certainly have to admit that the word "congratulations" was not in Ramsey’s vocabulary on Monday Night Football.  LOL!

Once again, the Ravens were ready and well prepared.  Offense put on a show, Defense broke the Rams down, and Special Teams just might be the best there is right now, with Marc Peters picking up another intercaption!  I honestly feel, we may not be "the best" in the NFL this season, but we are definitely in the top five.  Our coaches have to be proud of the way they built this Offense "around" our QB, and it has paid off big time!

Charm City is still partying today, and already filing away last night’s win to be picked apart by the sports media while we just sit back, smiling, and loving our Ravens!  Now we are definitely ready, willing and able to welcome the 49ers into "Our House" on December 1st!  God willing, everyone is heallthy and ready to play!

Sorry but I got carried away with this long and praise worthy comment!

I had to laugh, though, at an alert I got on my Ravens App that said he (Jaylen Ramsey) called Michael Vick, who is obviously a friend of his, to ask him for his advice on how they can stop Lamar Jackson.  They did not print Vick’s response, but that tells me they are already giving more than just a little thought about this season’s Ravens.  LOL!

Unfortunate that the 49ers put a hurtin’ on the Pack.  I could not help but feel bad for Aaron.  Their D simply cold not control the 49ers O; but, it has to be said, they have fantastic Defense to go with that great Offense, but our D is improving with each game now, so I’m hoping they will put the stop sign up on them tonight and our O will provide Lamar with the protection he will obviously need in order to find the holes and/or the receivers he so beautifully seems to find.

And Casey, reat game for the Bills yesterday, and so glad to see John Brown becoming what I always knew he was, and that is a terrific receiver with great hands.  Looks like he is also becoming one of Josh Allen’s favorites to boot!

I am extremely glad the show has been renewed.  That was quick.  I would imagine they wanted to give fans the relief of knowing that DOOL was not going anywhere for now.  I will now look forward to who will be coming back when the new contracts are handed out and who will NOT!

agreed, there are those who love it, as you do, but there are many others who do not.  I for one don’t "love" it; but i’m okay with it because I know that by early spring, I believe is when I read, everything will be back to normal and the show’s time from actual taping to on-screen will be cut dramatically from the many months we are behind now.  That’s what I’m looking forward to; but there are many boards as well as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram where harsh expressions of dislike are shown on a daily basis.  Guess I should quit looking at social media for fear it poisons the mind!  LOL!
