Aiden plays both sides – he seems to be loving and tender with Hope, but when she pulled back from him in bed at the lodge and she left the room, he grimaced and gripped that bed cover like it could be Hope’s throat. Get rid of him!

Hate the SLs, the character and dislike the actress.

he won a contest to get the part…He was sure handsome, but people don’t want him breaking up Patch/Kayla. Boo! I’m sure he’ll get another gig soon.

…and the one featuring Jennifer were both innovative and wonderfully written. Character-centric seems to be a new trick for DOOL and it works! I think we are beginning to see the work of the “new” writers and maybe…hopefully…some of this crap (Kate/Deimos, Summer/Maggie, and others are just the dregs left over from the previous regime. I really want John to get his a$$ back home and start up that detective agency – that would really be a fun office! Use Ciera or Claire as their Girl Friday…they’ve already got a shrink (Marlena) available for profiling a la Criminal Minds. Let Shawn, if he’s staying, get away from Lani and go into the agency with them. JJ could be their link to the PD. (I’m thinking back to the old Edge of Night that was a film noir type of soap with definite good guys and bad guys. )

also win a second Emmy for her streaming series? And I love the picture that’s on Facebook of Steve Nichols hugging her when her name is called. You can tell they are tried-and-true, long-time great great friends!

If we ever see Ben again, I’m sure it’ll have to be a recast…what with his burn injuries and all.

Scarlett – I know where you’re at…mine SOS (son on spectrum) is 37…but he talks all the damn time.  He can get aggressive and violent…we’ve called the police on him and paramedics.  We’re not proud of the fact, but we’re in our 60’s and can’t handle it.  His older brother took him down one night recently, but it was a de-escalation thing.  The violence is a by-product of their own frustration…not understtanding something, not communicating well, over-stimulation…sometimes just not feeling well.  I hope they don’t white-wash Theo’s autism.  It’d be a great disservice to the real concern.

Why not bring Susan back and we can get the cartoon-twins (a la Popeye & Olive Oyl) to chew up some more scenery!

…she got an Emmy nomination….oh I know, it’s just the writing…but I believe writers have to care and invest in the characters to give them meaty dialog/storylines.  What a crock!

…and allow me to be a little generous here…that it all has to do with the eligibility period.  It could be the Bo/Nicole/Dan stories were outside the eligibility period and possibly could be considered next year.  Eve and Paige’s drama were well before the holidays.
