redessaParticipant
I’ve wondered that too, if it feels like it’s slipping so she has to hold it. But it is really distracting.
redessaParticipantYeah, I nearly LOL’d when I saw that the sarcophagus Vivian bought showed Isabella’s death as being 1992. I would’ve thought days would try to gloss over that seeing as Brady has been SORAS’d to WELL over 18.
redessaParticipantI think she means her friend doesn’t wear glasses or contacts.
redessaParticipantI don’t mind a product placement along with a mention of it, "You’ve never had chex mix!?!" That seems like a normal thing people might say. But I thought that whole scene at the picnic was too much. That close up of the bag was ridiculous and Sami going on about how it’s a million different flavors in your mouth as opposed to just saying "here, try it." And then they went on to fight over the bag…. It’s shoving it down our throats just as much as any commercial would and IMO, it DOES interrupt the main story.
redessaParticipantAren’t these girls still in high school? You have to be at least 18 to even serve alcohol (much less tend bar) in every state, except Maine where it’s 17.
So yes, I agree that it’s really, really off for a couple of young girls to be working behind the counter in a pub. And to think 2 of Caroline’s sons are cops. You’d think she’d be more careful about things like liquor laws.
redessaParticipantAutism is a spectrum disorder encompassing many vary degrees of severity. I have a son with Asperger’s which is on the autism spectrum. He’s extremely intelligent and completely capable of carrying on a normal conversation when he wants to (and moreso with those he’s comfortable with) – think nerdy computer genius type. His main issues lie in the area of social skills (although he was also late to potty train, is resitant to change and has some other typical autistic characteristics). I have friends with children who are more severely autistic who, with early interventions and therapies, are functioning at or very near the level of my son. So I don’t find it at all difficult to believe that Theo could be making great progress in his communication skills. And it makes perfect sense that Abe and Lexie would be doing everything possible to make that happen.
redessaParticipantOh how beautiful are the three of them!
redessaParticipantWow! I had no idea. Thanks so much for all you do with these boards!
redessaParticipantActually Sandy Duncan was on for 4 seasons.
redessaParticipantI do remember that show! And what happened was that Valerie Harper decided to leave the show (can’t remember why) so they had her character die and the dad’s sister (Sandy) came to live with them to help him with the kids. So yes, she was a new mother figure, but it wasn’t that they changed actresses and had someone else playing the mom.

But when we consider that he did the one tour, lost his leg, came back, learned how to walk again, had all those issues with Belle and Shawn and finding out Claire wasn’t his and the thing with the surrogate and so on. THEN he somehow managed to go back to active duty and lost his face, had a transplant (miraculously with no scars LOL), found out Pocket was his son, worked at Titan, set-up John for drug smuggling, had relationships with Chloe, Melanie, Stephanie and now Melanie again… I just have a hard time believing he’s done ALL of that and is still only 26. I do think he’s supposed to have been aged some since high school but I don’t think it’s ever been said. Once the characters reach adulthood they seem to go into some time warp where age does not exist. Like how Marlena turned up pregnant at what had to have been at least 60.

I don’t know how old the character is supposed to be but 26 seems like a stretch. Esp considering everything this character is supposed to have been through – war, learning to use a prostetic leg, marriage, embryo switch, going back to war, face transplant… Those things take time.
redessaParticipantI think it’s been a little over 20 years for me.
redessaParticipantLooks like ATWT just got cancelled!
redessaParticipantI know! I kept waiting for him to tell them she didn’t call from her own phone. Why on this earth he has any reason for having faith her to "do the right thing" makes me wonder when exactly he was dropped on his head. Cause only someone with brain damage can’t see that Nicole is always in it for herself.
