or shouldn’t it be if that were the case for a gay male or female to play the romantic lead with a straight person? I remember several actors from years past (maybe present too but the past the secret was kept) who were extremely hot romantic leads (Rock Hudson in all those movies with Doris Day, Richard Chamberlain, etc.) but were simply acting. I think some actors like to play roles/scenes they would never dream of doing in their real life. Most actors who play killers do so for the challenge of the role, or at least I hope they do it for that reason, lol.
As far as the heat goes in that office – It’s an office, I’ve been in a classroom many times during the early spring/summer/fall and I can guarantee you wouldn’t strip down like that nor would you let the students! You open the window, if there is one. If not, you put your big girl/guy pants on and DEAL with it! The other thing I find ridiculous is that Salem is supposed to be in the midwest up north and during winter I can almost guarantee you would be freezing cold, not over heating! If the office was that hot, you’d be calling maintenance for help or the fire department as something is really wrong! For two supposedly smart people, they should know that.
Austin and Abigail: He just doesn’t seem to even realize she’s got the hots for him. I suspect he sees her as the little baby whose life he saved way back when, not as a potential lover.
Will storyline: I know there are some that hate the idea but I felt like it was done very well. Will’s reaction to Sonny’s friend really showed his questioning of his feelings and then his talk with Justin showed it was okay.
Ally away from Sami? Maybe keeping Sami very busy is what she has planned so that Lucas can use the time Ally is being taken care of by Grandma Brady instead of her mother? He may also be there to have a story with Will.

I think she has to know on some level that Austin loves his wife and he wouldn’t be dumping her for Abby. I think the most she could hope for would be an affair with Austin but I think she really wants the relationship where she can be in public with the guy so that is why she is upset about Chad moving on with Melanie. Chad got someone and she’s still panting over Austin and alone! That said, I think there is a weird feeling about you and your friend being with the same guy but many former couples find themselves in that way these days.
