they had it, not John so John couldn’t give it to Steffy because he no longer had it. I thought Harmon was in charge at the safe house so he could have done that. Plus, Salem is always in the ‘time warp’ so we don’t know how much time he had between seeing Steffie and leaving him.
I wonder if the rug was covering a cellar safe area. John’s last words were something like ‘Get down, get down" which while it could have meant on the floor behind the furniture but it could have meant get down into the cellar that Rafe/Carrie just found. Since I’m not buying their dying, I’m guessing there’s a rat hole of some type to escape into, lol.

1. Did I miss something or how did Shane just happen to appear in Salem since he and Kim live in Calif?
2. Is it possible that Stefano only wanted to scare the gang and show them he was in control?

Bluebonnet, bomb squad – how about having the fire department there too since if you know there’s a bomb, it seems rather logical that an explosion inside a house would result in some type of fire that needs to be put out with more than a fire extinguisher!! Oh, wait, maybe Salem only has regular cops and no firefighters??? lol This is why the show appears dumb at times!
The safe house isn’t really safe as Stefano and his evil ISA agent have it rigged to explode with John/Marlena/Rafe/Carrie/Bo/Hope inside. Shane and Roman work to save them. But, no one knows about the rogue agent for the ISA.
in this case all 3 are powerful types. Only one, Victor Newman, had planned to call in favors to avoid having the SEC even talk to him! He’s sort of like the Stefano of Y&R, thinks he’s above the law. I just couldn’t get why they’d go to one guy’s house, talk to the woman at a local bar, and Victor at his office (the latter making more sense than the others).

Poor Steffy, —NOT! lol It did make me wonder if he’s going to be killed off: What was the purpose of his father telling him without the egg the family would be destroyed? Then Abe threatens to kill him if there’s a connection to Lexie’s brain tumor, EJ threatens him, Bo wants to kill him for beating him up, Kate loves/hates him, Lucas doesn’t like him, etc. Yup, looks like lots of potential suspects and I think Ian could also have a reason to off him!
with the on screen pregnancy. I know she said she wasn’t really pregnant but she is glowing like she is.
with who offed Ian (Stefano, Kate, Madison, Victor, Brady, etc)! lol Or it could be who killed Stefano since they seem to be setting up a lot of potential suspects (Kate, Sami, Lucas, EJ, Abe, Billie, ISA, John, Marlena, Bo, Hope, Victor, Brady, Ian, maybe even Madison or Nicole if they find out something – yup lots of people hating him)!
I think he’s doing a great job on it and why would he want to return to a show that might turn him into a Mr. Kayla with little to do but be a glorified extra and then when the next set of writers/production change, he’d be dumped again? He gets to be a smart, sneaky, caustic at times, business guy who is on on a regular basis and also tied to a prominent Genoa City family. Just take a look at what Days has done with Carrie/Austin/Jack/Kayla.
It’s Disney Jr. here 24/7. It makes me wonder about the IIC of ABC to think that little pre-schoolers should be exposed day and night to cartoon type shows. As a former teacher, I know it’s a very bad idea.

This does make no sense since we saw when Susan got the implantation. Could John be his father? I’m having a hard time trying to figure out where these writers are going as my possible direction of a Lucas/EJ switch won’t work due to the SORASing of EJ. They now appear to be the same age but they weren’t originally.
against most corporate rules????? Kate is CEO of Countess W and Ian is head (because of Vic) of Mad World. Did Victor’s company buy Countess W??
So Lucas recognizes the creep – wonder if they’re going to rewrite history and have him not be Bill Horton’s son?? YUCK!!
Fallout could be Stefano dealing with what he did to EJ and Kate dealing with what she did to Stefano. John/Hope — I sure hope they didn’t sleep together when they were Pawn/Gina. I don’t want another pregnancy – geesh!
