Participantby the local network – right? At least with SoapNet you could see the whole show without the ‘interruptions’ by the locals for their ‘vital’ breaking news, which usually isn’t!
SW
ParticipantIt’s like all the networks that just keep adding more news/talk shows. I love being able to watch the shows off hours!

Participantcard and board games with my kids all the time. I have had some children who can’t deal with losing or brag constantly when they win, so my game times are actually major teaching times for not only the reading skill but also ‘how to be a good sport" when you play and that you will never always win and likewise, you will never always lose. Slowly, they get the idea. I, like you and many others, learned these lessons at home but now it seems to be the schools’ responsibility. As a kid, all of us played those neighborhood games, went biking, walking to the beach, hide and go seek (especially at dusk was always a fun one), and we had to be in when it got dark. I also remember every parent/adult in the neighborhood keeping an ‘eye’ on us. I know I rode the bike and walked many more miles in a summer day than the kids of today do! We also didn’t have the junk food that the kids eat today so what we ate, quickly was used for energy. Kids today are so ‘over-scheduled’ with adult activities and they don’t develop skills of: leadership, decision-making, turn-taking, sharing, creativity, time-management, coping skills, etc. Yes, some do have those but I think in general we all developed those skills. Fond memories.

Participantthat you can’t always win, how to lose gracefully, how to win gracefully, turn taking, etc. Hopefully, they also make the connection that you don’t bet what you don’t want to potentially lose. Given that Johnny is living in DaMansion with the Dimeras, he needs to learn all sorts of things! lol Don’t I remember EJ being a poker player at one point?
SW
ParticipantSending prayers his way!
SW
Participantwent to live with Austin and Carrie? He certainly has enough ammo on Sami. She’s made so many poor choices. I was hoping she was finally growing up when she was with Rafe but she’s back to childhood again it seems.
SW
ParticipantI hope it was a great day and will be a dream filled new birthday year.
SW
Participantfuture storyline if the show lasts another 20 years! You know how they love to repeat stuff! lol I’m surprised that Will isn’t totally screwed up with all he’s had to deal with.

Participantin a mature love relationship based on longtime friendship and not the ‘lust’ stuff we’ve seen lately. I’d hate to see Maggie having to be the object of Vivian’s hatred though. I’d like to see Vivian be taken down by Victor if he’s going to try to start a relationship with Maggie. I agree that Maggie is more sophisticated than Caroline. Caroline was in a young adult relationship (when she was with Victor) but Maggie’s would be two mature people wanting to spend time together and be there for each other. I also love the fact that those two have a lot of connections with the younger actors making the story more believable and interesting.

Participantthe spoilers are posted just look for Alice in the titles.
SW
Participantthey should really have it awarded to the kids that are under 18. JMHO
SW
Participantway too often and annoying for me when I watch. jmho
SW
Participantthey are on a cell-phone in stores: loud enough for the world to hear their conversations! It’s like she is afraid Rafe can’t hear what Anna is saying but it comes across as weird and annoying.
SW
Participantfigure out if he’s having vision problems (can’t see without glasses/contracts) OR he’s very sensitive to the studio lighting and it is causing him to constantly blink. It’s the thing about him that truly drives me nuts! I find it hard to look at him when he’s doing it so much!
SW
Participantwith Dr. Baker and that is what was said. It was on my Comcast netpage.
