time. Thanks again for all you do for this board! It seems that spam comes from everywhere and it’s really hard to avoid it!
How would you like to be sleeping away the winter only to have millions of people all of a sudden wake you up from your nice warm sleep, drag you outside in the cold to face a bunch of cameras and lights, and then complain because they say you saw your shadow? How could you not see your shadow with all those TV camera lights on you! Poor groundhog. They should just leave them alone to come out when they are really ready to!
It has to do or could have to do with the horrible weather on the east coast during this time. There were a lot more people home during the day to watch live. I tape the shows except now that SN has it on at 6 pm so I can watch the rerun live. I’m thinking some people who used to watch Passions but not Days have tuned in to catch the actors in their new roles too.
it happened! Reminds me of the old Passions’ days when one character was in a limo ride to the honeymoon and stepped out with a haircut and a dye job on arrival. I’ve yet to figure out how even a filthy rich woman could accomplish that one!
the reason he did it had to be for the camera angle! The camera shot after he walked forward was where he had been standing. They should have just had him move behind the camera if that’s what they wanted as I agree, it looked ridiculous the way it happened! she rejected him! His goal is to keep Sami away from anyone (particularly male) who she might be with other than him! Remember Nicole knew that if she lost their baby, he’d dump her and fly back to Sami. Sami has another guy that she really loves so EJ can’t stand it, it makes him go crazy to think he can’t have what he wants so to punish her for not loving him, he takes their children. He’s just like Stefano, remember when he took the twins from Marlena because he couldn’t have her? It’s like the Dimera men are doomed to lose at love (EJ, Stefano, and Santos?) because they are obsessed with the women rather than being in love with them. They crush the women that they want to the point they will never be with them. The only reason Stefano has Kate is because he’s blackmailed her into being with him. I doubt she loves him but she isn’t rebelling because he’s keeping her out of a real jail and in the lap of luxury. Nicole did think she loved EJ but I suspect she loved the lifestyle of being a Dimera more plus one upping Sami.
it should have been when Sami lost Grace and then when she found out about Sydney and even now when she believes her kidnapped child is dead.
My guess on Belle/Shawn, they won’t be back because the show has too many actors in their age bracket right now: Stephanie, Philip, Nathan, Brady, Arianna, Chloe, and maybe Melanie. The show usually tries to keep some in each of the age brackets but that would just be way too many.
Carrie could return because of the Anna kidnapping. Mike should definitely return for Alice’s funeral.
I suspect that many of the actors don’t want to do a non-contract appearance. Or maybe Days is afraid that if the actors just do a guest appearance the audience will demand them back full-time?
get out and soon. I think she took a little longer leave than Ali S. did. Plus, I think there was pre-taping for Ali. I hate what EJ is doing to Sami/Rafe. I’d love for Anna to have enough guts to bust EJ.
it was a beautiful shot of Alice at the end of today’s show. It was nice they acknowledged her passing so soon even though the character will pass later on.
wants us to believe. I agree that some just want their 15 minutes (or more) of fame, others probably are on it to develop a future acting career but I didn’t think that was the original purpose.
engaged. ABC pays for an engagement ring that the bachelor picks out for the chosen woman. Most do end up engaged but break up after the show airs. One got married, one dumped his choice and picked the other he had sent home and I hear they are going to be given a wedding on ABC (paid for by ABC), some are still together but not married, and most have moved on to others -marrying them.
MA, they do have a charity fundraiser where people run into the ocean at this time of year. They also run out faster! lol But, I agree about the wardrobes for standing outside. It’s also fascinating how the guys are always in suits but the women have sleeveless outfits in the same location. Can’t they afford fake fur shawls? Most people around here that wear that type of dress to an event in winter also have something to cover up with when they go outside UNLESS, they are too drunk to notice.
Daniel brought her in to do the test? I thought he had called her an OB but I half watch at times so it’s possible I misunderstood.
I cringed when I saw Bo picking up Hope, and I don’t have a medical background! Even I know that is a really huge, "No-NO!" Thanks for confirming it, Bonbon!
As to Melanie: Did the shot go through her? My guess is that it’s in there and will eventually cause her not to be able to have kids or some such thing! Isn’t that how it usually works for this show?
