as the saying goes, "This is Days!"  Time warps seem to be constants with this show.

Ari.  There was something to do with Meredith finding out about drug dealing – Ari was in prison for dealing after she died?  I also thought Meredith just disappeared after she dumped Rafe in the ocean, not knowing he would be rescued by Carly.

Vivian’s daughter from an affair with either Stefano or Victor?  lol  Sorry, I can’t stand her but I couldn’t resist posting.   And, no, it isn’t a spoiler, that I know of! lol

His last airing is Feb. 16th so he should have been there but I guess that would  have meant counting it as a work day and having to pay him to stand around and do nothing – same for the others that weren’t there.  I guess you’re supposed to believe they were there and hiding in another room!

talked about Lawrence giving her child away, she said he gave her to that man or something to that effect which seemed more like the man her daughter was given to was not someone she would have slept with but someone she disliked very strongly! jmho

her daughter but Vivian thinks she knows and told Victor that it was Mia!  As for how the actor could come back: I believe that that cable network is also owned by NBC thus allowing the sharing of actors.   I’m sure it won’t come out for Vivian and the rest of Salem that it’s Melanie, not Mia until he returns or shortly before.

I’m not sure what my Boston NBC showed at the end.

they started to pair Sheridan and Luis (Rafe), it reminded me of what hooked me on Days originally- Roman and Marlena (the cop and the rich woman).  They fought like cat/dog too just like R&M!  It also took me a while to figure out if Timmy was real or just an animated doll – lol.  That was another freaky thing about the show- the actor died in real life on the day his character first died on screen.

Obviously the big wigs at NBC have a problem recognizing what people want to see – look at the Jay Leno fiasco!

He was told, right after being told his contract was not renewed,  that since he only had a line or 2 that if he didn’t want to come in for it, he didn’t have to.  At first he said he planned to but then rethought it and decided it just wasn’t worth going in for basically nothing.

does Bo?  Remember Vivian delighted in telling him about Justin and Hope kissing.  If Bo assumed (wrongly – yes) things went the same way for Hope as it did for him, he assumed they did the deed too!

shows as NBC doesn’t have any other soaps left to do crossovers with. Passions was cancelled due to high costs and low ratings (at least lower than a game show/talk show- they replaced it with a 4th? or 3rd hour of the Today show).   Another thing: the Lopez family had 2 daughters and 2 sons (Galen’s Luis had an older brother- Antonion and the youngest daughter was Paloma with a single mother [her husband left her for the rich wife of one of core families].  A crossover with Days would have been great but since they were owned by two different companies, it never happened.  Days is owned by Corday and Sony and Passions was owned by NBC and James Reilly.  The funny thing was Passions was clearly set in New England (up the coast from Salem, MA).   Tabitha, the witch, had left Salem because of their past treatment of witches.  It was originally a show with a lot of humor and a good mix of the supernatural but the last two years things went too a very dark, weird/gross side.  I hung in to the end and basically Reilly scr*wed the long term fans who had been supporting the Sheridan/Luis (Rafe’s character) pairing.   Ethan (Brady) and Theresa (Ari) got their happily ever after.   Well, probably gave you more than you wanted to know.

there was no chemistry between those two either! So while I didn’t like him hurting Hope that way, it was even worse since it was just gross!  More  like two dogs in heat than good couple chemistry for me!

Sorry you’re having the same cold weather we usually have up here in Massachusetts.  It’s cold here too – the 20s.  But, this is somewhat normal for us.  The electricity being out is the worse as nothing works without it these days.  Take care Bonbon.

mail a letter – never to be seen or mentioned again!  That seems like the way they are doing things again.  Maybe Lucas will be talked about like he’s there but never seen?   Sort of like Alice and Mickey have been lately.  No real end to the character or explanation of where he  is or why.
