performance on the show and how they did a quick rewrite of her leaving town or something like that. She didn’t look right in those last shows. I remember there were actors that were totally shocked and didn’t realize how depressed she was over her son’s death.
SWParticipantlighter brown than the show has. I’m almost positive the show is using a wig. Her hair was also longer in the photo.
SWParticipantMelissa Reeve’s husband is back in LA doing General Hospital so I am guessing that she and the kids would return too. So, if she’s back in CA, why not see if she’d like to do the show again. I don’t think Matt Ashford ever left CA. So who knows!
SWParticipantseen according to the article in Soap Opera Digest. They will have a stand-in covered with a sheet. John Clarke was told about the character’s death by Suzanne and someone who sent him the script. From the comments, he was done with the show and understood why they killed off the character. There will be plenty of photos of John as Mickey just to remind the audience who the character was.
SWParticipantOrthodox church in Greece. Victor hasn’t been very religious lately but I’m guessing it is due to his storyline being on the dark side.

I guess it was his way of getting rid of those actors he no longer wanted to write for. He would have totally ruined the show as we knew it.

It should have been a great thing for the Mike and Carrie fans but instead it was stupid!

The story with Marlena being the killer of half of Salem was another grand turkey of a story though too.
SWParticipantI liked the original Austin (Patrick Muldoon). I hated the replacement. Patrick’s Austin had more class – playing the piano, in grad school, etc. I also felt that he had more chemistry with Christie Clarke than his replacement who seemed to go better with Ali S.’s Sami. He also fell for every trick Sami pulled but expected Carrie to support him constantly. Sorry but she deserved better than playing second place to Sami. When Mike came on there was just some fantastic chemistry with Carrie but unfortunately it got dumped by the new writers.
SWParticipantstill on Young and Restless as Lauren Fenmore Baldwin.
SWParticipantRoman was in a basement listening as Marlena accidently announced she was pregnant to Tom Horton and he was shocked because Roman wasn’t/hadn’t been around (or so they all thought). So, good ole Eugene stepped up and announced that he was the father. Tom then insisted that they should get married! Roman was having a fit listening to the news and Marlena couldn’t marry Eugene because she knew she was still married to Roman!
SWParticipant1. She believes that Hope split up with Bo and not her character’s intrusion in the relationship since they were already living apart when she came on the scene. (it’s a matter of symantics and perspective on that).
2. The writers lied to her too when they told her the story of her return. They wouldn’t do that now would they?
SWParticipantlost kids, they have problems pairing them up as they end up being related to most of the town in one way or another (by blood or marriages). I guess that’s why Rafe, Arianna, and Gabi were added to show – they need fresh bloodlines! lol
SWParticipantI think it was when she was being forced to marry Larry Welch. There was a guy who smoked cigars and he put on Hope’s bridal outfit (not that Larry shouldn’t have been able to tell the difference between Hope and that guy! lol) with the veil over his face. I think his name was Howie?
There was Bope in New Orleans chasing the prism? And, London when they got married. Loved the Justin/Adrienne wedding on location in Greece. Those were the days of real ‘location’ shots. So sad that everything is computer generated in the studio these days.
SWParticipantwhen Roman first appeared to protect Marlena. I had a friend that was addicted to the story and had to work when it was on so I started to watch and got hooked. I still tape although Soap Net has really helped. I used to get very frustrated when the local network would interrupt for some ‘breaking story’. Funny thing is that now that Soap Net is available, it seems that they don’t interrupt the show nearly as much as they used to! Maybe it’s not as much fun for them to annoy the daytime fans?
