But as stated – at least they made mention of Peter… the Jack/Laura sleeping together… they got the timeline correct. 1995 was when it all went down – and if Gwen was 8 that puts conception at 1987 which was before Jack came to Salem.

I hope so. I’d love to see Sami protecting her own. And then going toe to toe with Ava (even tho she hates him – Charlie’s her kid.)
I like this actress who plays Claire… but I’m not at all interested in the character at all. Def. karma AFAIC.
I do think the actress who plays Allie is PERFECT casting. She is def. believeable as Sami and Lucas’s kid. I saw Ali is back filming – do we know when she airs and what her "emotional SL" will be?
She accused him – went to trial – he got off but the press crucified her. She got her revenge by shooting him in the penis when he tried to rape her… again. Shortly after that the whole Austin/Sami/Carrie/Lucas SL storyline started.
Alan was Lucas’s friend but he was obsessed w/Carrie.
This was after she sold Belle on the black market and became bulimic for some time too!
I enjoyed Jan when she had Shawn in a cage years ago – but it was enjoyable b/c they were so young. This time around it’s ridic. Like that two week filler SL we had with Orpheus and Clyde would have been better if it was "Who Killed Jan Spears." This whole thing felt… odd.
A – she didn’t have a licence & B – tackle her!!! Even if she had someone pointing a gun @ Belle they wouldn’t know what to do if they restrained Jan. RIDIC!!! I think today was her last episode though so that’s good.
Poor D Hall and Drake. They must roll their eyes when they see these scripts.
Also – anyone notice Phillip walks with a limp? I guess Jay remembers that Phillip lost his leg – at least SOMEONE remembered on the show LOL
Side note: Anyone notice how the actor who plays Charlie very OBVIOUSLY puts his glasses on in some scenes. Are we supposed to notice that? Is it a clue to something? Feels… odd and a little forced.
It was Mark Valley as Jack – when Jack slept with Laura (not knowing who each other was.) The only good to come out of that SL was Jason Brooks as Peter – but that’s what drove Missy away in the first place LOL

I’m not sure I agree with the above poster… I don’t believe the spouse of your brother or sister in law technically has a title. Unless of course you WANT them to.
They aren’t filming 6-9 months ahead I’m good with whatever. That worked for us this whole year – but it’s so awful and difficult when a SL is so bad. The "far in advance taping" really hurts their ability to course correct AWFUL storylines. I dunno what the other soaps do (in a non Covid world) but filming July episodes in November was always very bizarre to me.
I read that Ron C. didn’t like that the Thanksgiving and Christmas eps weren’t going to air during that time frame (since Olympics were cancelled) and said he wrote in a short SL to make sure it all gets caught up. A "who killed Jan" would certainly fit the bill IMO.
