No issue with Shawn – but Daniel has always been a bit too "holier than thou" for me – and for no good reason since he’s pretty much a man whore.
The character never clicked for me – and I don’t at all see the appeal of Shawn (no disrespect to the actor but he looks like a dirty surfer dude.)
I’m okay with AZ going – I’ve always "liked" Nicole but I’m not at all interested in who she loves this week. If she is gonna remain then let her be a ruthless business woman!!! Run BB with Kate and give us a corporate espionage story of something LOL… I am not interested in Nicole telling us who she is in love with (again.) THAT ship has sailed for me.
I thought the same thing – but it didn’t say Salem. It was like Secamore or something. I caught it quick on a rewind b/c i was looking at it too (when he was talking to Hope.) HA HA so funny we both caught the diploma on the wall – see Bon, we are not so different.
Btw – maybe he did go to school in Oregon – SALEM Oregon. But just not for Law School.

I loved the Sami/Kate intro – so nicely done. Those two have a LOT of history. I agree about the Lucas contrived part. Surely they had a REAL flashback they could have used – but, hey, what can you do right? We’ll chalk that up to the same column with the missing parties LOL… I know there is NO way Austin/Carrie would have missed it since he was with them in Switzerland (right?) all that time he left Salem. Anyway………
When Andre walked in and they said "Tony" and he said "Andre" i died laughing. ONLY IN SALEM!!! LOL I found myself researching Andre when the show was over to refresh my memory on what he was responsible for – and to recollect my thoughts about the TONY impersonations LOL
Not a bad show at all.
I was one of those people – I hated Guy as Will but that is because they changed the character. It’s not that Guy was a bad Will – it was that the character of Will changed. Sure – I didn’t like Guy’s acting but I felt like Will wasn’t Will anymore.
When they changed Austin I liked it. Austin Peck was dopey enough to believe that Sami can manipuliate him – so it was believable. Same thing with Chad – I prefer Billy over Casey b/c I don’t think Casey had the chops to do THIS version of Chad. JMO.
But Bo has never changed. Bo IS Bo – and we haven’t really even see him on screen yet to see if the character changed or not. I mean sure, you could argue that Bo would never have left Fancy Face but let’s not forget – Bo took his Mom to the doctor and now we see he was kidnapped. So TECHNICALLY Bo didn’t leave her. What I never liked was when Bo was still stuck on Billie and chose her over Hope. But alas – I was still always happy to have Bo around.
THAT is the difference for me
When people say things "I just want Bo gone" it’s b/c of their hate towards Peter – thus not separating the two.
Sure – there might be some ANTI Bo fans – in general OR because they liked Hope with Aiden. But on the whole – a lot of these peope who "want Bo gone" are saying that b/c of Peter’s real life demands.
Sorry – but Soaps are a dying breed and I take no issue with how Peter leveraged social media to get something that the DOOL brass wasn’t giving him. When they just threw Drake & Deidra out on their asses (several times) and they didn’t fight back – all we said was aweeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!! Peter sticks up for himself and asks the fans to rally and then what? We all hate Bo!? C’mon!! THAT is absurd!!!

Sami is Sami – writing her managing this ANY OTHER WAY would be a disservice to the character.
Let’s not forget too Bon (and don’t attack me – i’m not being critical) that most people don’t experience in real life what a soap character does LOL.
Safe to say there aren’t a lot of people who lose a kid who wasn’t theirs, almost get executed for a crime you didn’t commit, sell your sister on the black market etc.
I do agree that soaps sometimes need realism – but let’s face it, Wills death was done for shock value and no other reason. Writing the reactions to be real wouldn’t line up.
I agree Manjeco. People can’t separate Bo from Peter. I’ve said that on a different thread as well. Peter plays Bo he is NOT Bo. The character of Bo should not have anything to do with who/what Peter is in real life. I never understood that either.
I was SO into the Colleen/Santo storyline and I loved him as half Brady and half DiMera. It made SO much sense of Stefano’s hatred for him. And then he came back and it was a BLIP – "oh yea, hey, he’s not the kid of Colleen." It was like barely mentioned coming back from commercial. You basically slapped me in the face after watching a summer worth of story and BOOM – took it all away. Very disappointing.

As always – AS was amazing!!! LOVE how they are writing her with this – VERY real and VERY emotional. The break down will be HUGE!!!
It’s like the longest drawn out story EVER told on a soap LOL. I’ll be honest – I couldn’t care less who John really is. It’s so past due its expiration date that I lost interest. ESPECIALLY when the Colleen/Santo story was SO well done. I hate that all that was for nothing – makes me care less about who John really is.
At this point just have him be Forrest Alamain – b/c unless you’re tying him to some other family in Salem it really doesn’t matter.
Hope was never a good crier – I agree with those posts!!!
Bryan did an okay job – I often wonder if actors won’t let themselves get there, especially if they have kids in real life. He didn’t convince me – except for when he broke down with Hope. In front of the apt. I was kinda like "meh."
Marlena convinced me – as did Sonny.
Today WAS huge – we had a major player knocked off. That is always compelling – and Sami is gonna be a on a RAMPAGE!!!! I love the zombie look Ali had – totally the way to play it. And I love she was sorta without makeup. Ali was always great for playing scenes they way they SHOULD be played – even back to the execution scenes.
U and me both. You never LOVED to hate his character – ya just hated him. He should have been well received as a maniuplator considering who is mom is – but alas, there’s only one Sami!!!
Will played by Chandler was so likeable – Will played by Guy resulted in a character change none of us liked played by (IMO) a subpar actor.
I do agree it’s a mistake to kill a legacy character – I would’ve been okay with him in a coma next to Jan Spears LOL. Let the killer fail this one time but put Will into a coma. Same effect – and gets Sami back to the show.
