I go thru phases where i am SO invested in watching. But now, these past few months, I watch while I’m doing a few other things. So I’m watching but I’m like "half watching." I’ll look at the TV if I hear something overly dramatic but otherwise I’m listening more than I am watching.

I never liked Rafe (ever – at all.) I find him a little holier than thou – but when he starts talking about how Gabi is in jail and how Will/Sonny need to be there and together for Ari…. Zzzzzzz……. MIND YOUR BUSINESS RAFE!!!
I think that was his first big arc right? That’s when it grabbed my attention as a kid. That and Sami joining the show – I remember her first episode (roaming around the Brady house with Roman catching her.) Wow – so long ago
And the ratings showed he knew what he was doing. The last two times DOOL was # 2 was him at the helm. Say what you want about him but he knew how to tell a story. Sure, he used flashbacks a lot (sometimes using a flashback for something that happened IN the same episode) and the characters talked aloud to themselves…. but his stories involved MULTIPLE people which I loved & he knew how to give us a payoff. You waited MONTHS for a story to wrap up but LORD you got a WHOLE WEEK of goodies when it did.
Marlena possessed…. Maison Blanche………. Is Gina Hope?…… Sami’s reign of terror…… Vivian and the embryo switch….. Aremid…… The lady in white……..Serial Killer…… Melaswen…. Princess Gina/Greta/Swamp Girl….
What else did he do? Was he responsible for the Susan etc. storyline?
Man I LOVED DOOL when he was at the helm (both times.) Truly was CANT MISS DAYS!!! Mid-late 90s was high school for me and I used to RUN home to watch it on the VCR. Good times – Good times.
I think it’s pretty impressive JJ doesn’t fall down more – considering what a dope he is LOL… Maybe Paige is a cheerleader LMAO… You know 4.0 and cheer squad – we don’t see her studying so maybe we don’t see her extra circ. activities either. HE HE HE

I sure do miss Chandler though – wish it was Guy leaving and not Freddie (Guy must have had a bad cold – he sounded awful tonight.)I don’t watch GH but my Mom thought Maura West deserved it over Ali for the Emmy. I guess i’ll take her word on it ha ha
