I’m very ANTI SAFE sine I’m PRO EJAMI!!! But I like a lot of the other stuff. The Ava V. shit was a bit too GENERAL HOSPITAL for me – but on the whole that is a pretty good list.
I’m not a fan of DH’s either – well, not how they have been written lately. The last time I liked John n Marlena were the late 90s. Since then they have been props. Waste of salary if you’re not gonna use em AFAIC.
But I guess any change is good considering the blah we have been fed lately.
DH write when she was on? What were her BIG storylines from 08-11 ? Save me a google search Patti LOL
I posted the same thing replying to your Wednesday show post – I’m accepting Guy more in the role b/c they are changing the character ever so slightly (I.e. Austin Peck vs. Patrick Muldoon – character changed so we all accepted it.)
I think he loves Sonny too – but what was his motivation for banging Paul? Lust? Not having a lot of experience? The Story?! Who knows.
Guy is a bad crier I agree. So is KA. So was Ali Sweeney too – she cried angry well but she did not cry sad well.
Serena and Eric = Zzz….
I too was un-moved by Will. A good 3 Days this week (Wed-Fri) but Will was lkinda "meh."
And obviously I meant gay men – Paul isn’t a gay woman LOL

We agree!!! Christopher is incredible in this role – BRAVO for finding him – now let’s make sure we can flesh him out some more! For the first time EVER – I liked Guy as Will. You know I have had my issues with it being Guy and not Chandler – but for the first time today I said to myself "He’s Will now." They morphed the character of Will so much – and as amazing as Chandler is/was – I’m not sure I’d buy him as a cheater and/or as a confidante for the newly outed Paul. I can compare it to the way Austin was written/re-written. Patrick M. was Austin – and when Austin was dumbed down – well, who plays dumb better than Austin Peck?
The coming out scenes with Paul were amazing. Having lived through all of that I can say it struck a chord. I actually preferred his coming out to Will’s – well done DOOL. Well done!!!
What amazes me is how the same set of writers can write Sonny/Will/Paul but then write JJ/Eve/Paige?!? How the hell does that happen? LOL
When JER wrote the show – and while I know soooooo many of you don’t like the stories he told I sure as hell did. I miss him being the writer (aside from the stories being so drawn out.) But hey – at least they had HUGE payoffs. WOW – I miss those "Days."
Took the story line of Nick being shot and Gabi going to prision and replaced it with Clyde and Jordan?!

Thanks for the support everyone. For the record – I don’t think anyone is ill intentioned – just a bit ignorant. I’d wager that anyone who has an issue with these "gay storylines" are probably 70 or older. Not to say anyone over 70 can’t be okay with the stories (I’m sure…and hopeful some are) but in my opinion the people who take issues with gays being "shoved down their throat" for "shock value" typically are of the older variety.
Not mean spirited or anything…. just ignorant and haven’t been taught any differently. I like this board – and I hope to keep reading and posting on it for a long time. This is just one of those things where we compromise…. I’ll do it my way and you’ll do it my way
LOL….. Is it really shocking to anyone?!? You might be disguisted by it – but that’s your choice. But shocking in 2015?!? Where do you live? Wyoming?!
If anyone is shocked by gay sex/gay couples on T.V. then I need to know where you live in the United States b/c guess what – we are everywhere!!!
Now if you are grossed out by it?!? Well, all I can say is grow up. I am a gay male and I watch Orange is the new black and guess what…. there are lesbian scenes in it. Am I grossed out by it – no. I don’t like lady parts but that does not mean I don’t enjoy the show. I also think it’s funny and well written and that’s part of what we are shown.
Daytime soaps are all about pushing boundaries – putting gays at the forefront is a boundary that needs to be pushed. You don’t like it – don’t watch it. You are bothered by it that much – press FF on the remote. I hate seeing Eve/JJ b/c too me that’s just icky – not cuz it’s straight but b/c it’s gross. So guess what – I FF it. Doesn’t mean it’s the "Eve and JJ of our lives." It just means I don’t like it.
And anyone who starts off a sentence with "my friends are gay" or "i have friends who are gay" or "i’m not homophobic but" usually dont, definitely don’t or are (respectively.) It’s like saying I’m not racist – I have friends who are black but I don’t want to have them in my house.
For years I have watched every straight person on this show bed every other straight person – I’m gay but I am not grossed out by it. It just isn’t my cup of tea but is essential to the story. Do I think the sex scenes are a bit much (EJ/ABBY anyone?) Yup!!! But – what can ya do?!? I much prefer some kissing, a commerical and when we come back the deed is done. But I don’t film the show (and yes I’d prefer that for the gay scenes too. I have gay sex, i don’t need to watch it on TV.)
