I was running a retail store. She came in. I was like "omg is that Vivian" (to myself) and I knew it was. I approached her and was like "Are you Vivian on Days?" And she was like "yes dear I am." LOL It was so lovely!
I asked her all these questions and she just chatted away w/me. I told her that Carly buried alive got me hooked as a regular viewer and I was barely a teenager then. She giggled. It was all so sweet.
I love Marci and I never enjoyed Kate; the only time I found her mildy enjoyable was the affair w/EJ – which was more Jame’s acting than hers.
Marci is simply a better actress IMO and has better chemistry w/Billy.
The only thing Kate does well is "flip out" but that cray cray story has been done TO DEATH already.
Trust me – I get it.
I never liked how we are supposed to just care about people b/c they are legacy characters. Like u show up, in turmoil, and b/c ur Sami’s kid we are supposed to be automatically invested? Meh!
Sum1 just posted she is the same age as Ciara/Claire – that’s true. She def said she couldn’t find jobs after college b/c of the job market. So that absolutely implies 21-22 – unless it was a two year where she would be 19-20.
Is her SL long term or ?!? Do we know?
Calling her a pregant teen? She told Eric she couldn’t get a job after college b/c of the job market. That would make her 21-22. Not getting where everyone is getting "pregnant teen" from? Unless it’s the fact that everyone is treating her like a 17 year old. Or that she was HELLA aged LOL
I ilke that they made her British… meaning they made the character of GWEN British. I know she is IRL. I find her incredibly annoying already tho.
I think it was more about NOT wanting to join Steve (an easy lie.) I dont think that was a continuity issue.
They did a solid job of including all "channels." LOL.. I would have liked more nighttime soap than just one section. Dynasty… Dallas…. Knots….. they DOMINATED the 80s – even 90210 and Melrose in the 90s. I could have done without Andy Cohen and the reality TV tropes (even if I do like some of it.)
That he is Stefan. I think Rolf was expecting Gabi – and the drug she is about to inject him with is the same drug Abby has in her system – thus framing Gabi. All set up by Vivian obviously.
I’m torn. I’m often annoyed by her (the character not Stacy) – but for what? For him to wind up with Chloe? I’d almost rather lose Brady than lose Kristen.
Allow Eric (Brady) to run around with a tan line of his wedding band and Victor to have on his Apple Watch in the hospital bed… So nope – not catching much of anything over there.
Was NEVER a fan of Mansi – I prefered Marci in the role… tho I do agree that Kate plays nuts fairly well. They lost me w/this character after she called RAPE on Austin and banged EJ. Can’t do all that and be holier than thou.
TOTALLY agree Patti on the back and forth. It’s the same w/the "death" scenes. It’s hard to get emotionally invested in someone leaving when they "die" b/c we just KNOW they’ll be back. And I get that’s a soap staple – but c’mon… this Rolf thing is ABSURD. Tho I did crack up when Jake/Stefan said "Rolf? What is that? A muppet." LOL
If Jake is Stefan O. as we all assume he is – he would not have a scar LOL. That would mean that Julie has the heart of someone else (i.e. Dr Shaw – Jen’s ex psycho stalker doctor.)
I"m with you Majenco. Not cuz I love Steve & Kayla (snooze fest then and now) and not b/c I’m all for these Supercouple reuiniting (the magic of the 80’s pairing is long gone for most of these folks – let’s get some NEW couples in front and center.) But I am NOT INTERESTED in seeing a Hope/Steve pairing. EEW. I don’t want to see Hope with anyone – unless PR comes back (and we know he ain’t.)
Let them help each other thru it as LIFE LONG FRIENDS. Why does every male/female friendship on this show have to be a bed hop? LOL
I think she is definitely Hope again but PLEASE NO SOPE or HEVE (like HEAVE lol.)
With any of these "supercouples" being together is we never get to enjoy it. If they put Steve w/Kayla again – great. But here’s the thing… we aren’t going to get an EPIC romance (soaps don’t do that anymore) and even if we did we’ve already seen it. And they have spent so much time destorying these couples (and then firing the actors) it’s hard to even care. I’d root for them if I knew they’d (a) stay on the show & (b) be happy.
Look at John/Marlena – back burnered unless they are torn apart. YAWN!!!
I get that it’s not the 80s but what’s the point of writing these couples back together for it to not matter in the end?
