1. Who is your all time favorite character and who is your current favorite? Sami and Sami. I started watching around the time Carly was buried alive but Sami hooked me on the show. I was a teen when she started and I really related to the whole teen scene her, Jamie, Lucas, Austin and Carrie brought to the show. I love how Sami has developed (and not developed) into an adult and that while she’s not a vixen/villainess anymore she’s still got a lot of bad in her and they kept her character true to her core without writing her into a corner.
2. All time favorite couple and current favorite? All time? Bo and Hope – enough said!!! Current? Sami and E.J. I have been rooting for them for the longest!!!
3. All time favorite villain and currant favorite? All time favorite would probably be Stefano but that’s more b/c of the arc’s and stories his character has brought to the show and how WITHOUT him a lot of these characters wouldn’t be who they are NOW without his interference in their lives. There’s no one else on the show who has touched everyone in Salem as he has and has had a direct effect on who they are. Love him or hate him you gotta list him as the favorite of all time. Current? Do we really have any right now that are worth of the term villian? Sami is still bad (see above) and Kate is sorta like a cartoon… I don’t know that I have any current favorites b/c I’m not sure we have any right now. No one is wrecking havoc on the town since Kristen left.
4. All time favorite storyline and current? Current favorite is the situation with Nick but ONLY because it puts Sami and Kate on the same team and it’s hysterical. All time favorite storyline? Hmm…. It’s a 4 way tie for me so I can’t choose…. (a) Marlena possessed – I know a lot of you hate it BUT it roped a lot of storylines in together AND it did wonders for the ratings at a time when the show DESPERATELY needed the boost (b) Is Gina Hope? Kristian was amazing in that storyline and it lasted long BUT kept it interesting (c) Sami’s reign of terror on Carrie… Ali was superb as the bad teen turned adult. All those years of Wills paternity, seducing Austin (well raping Austin), torturing Carrie. EPIC!!! and (d) Carly buried Alive. Unique (for its time) and was amazingly done. As you can all tell I prefer JER’s writing and tenure over anyone elses thus far.
5. Least favorite storyline and current? That awful garden storyline with Austin and Greta. TERRIBLE!!! Current least favorite? Hmm… As great of a job as Greg and Ari are doing with it I am not at all interested in this Priest storyline. I like Eric as a Priest and Greg’s portrayl of him is captivating but lets wrap it up already.
6. Funniest character? Oh Vivian by far – she was evil and funny all at the same time. I prefer that type of funny over the old school Eugene/Caliople funny.
7. Favorite set? Favorite set of all time had to be Brady’s fish market. MAINLY b/c it brings back memories of me being little and watching it with my Mom.
I feel like I know ya and that we would be good friends in "real life." LOL… Happy to "have your back." Happy New Year to you and your family/loved ones

And I’d say $700 is quite expensive to be running around the woods. I certainly wouldn’t run into the woods with a $700 coat.
And for the record that coat was not feminine at all. It defines class and style at a expensive price tag.
Bon – I think you gotta read the posts a bit more before you reply. I didn’t take Patti’s comment as directed "towards you" at all. You also misread my post the other day about married people/the other woman.
It’s one thing if you feel personally attached but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Read the post and digest it first. It’s social media – lighten up
I dunno if I agree with this thread.
We’re VERY used to seeing E.J. in a suit or a shirt/tie. I don’t see him wearing anything manly or rugged – that coat was very in line with how is character is written. If he’s gonna be in a coat it would be fashionable and upscale – which that coat very much was. If we saw E.J. in a big ole Northface or a Parka it would be very OUT of character for him.
I’m not sure if James Scott would wear it but E.J. certainly would.
Not an expert on fashion BUT as a gay man living in NYC I think I have a good idea of a good "look" for a personality type. I do think that the coat was not in line with the "weather" for Salem. Though that seems to be a trend.
Was that women (wives) blame the other woman (mistresses) when it’s not even their (mistresses) fault. A lot of these women don’t even know the dudes they are banging are married. If you’re a spouse and your husband/wife cheats on you then the blame is placed on your significant other – NOT THE OTHER PERSON. Now if the other person is a best friend etc. that’s different. But in the case of the mistress being a stranger, really, blame your husband as he broke the vows.
But back to my original point LOL… if grownups can’t blame the correct person when something is done wrong then how can we expect 18 year old JJ to rationalize? Right?

I think J.J. isn’t telling Daniel b/c it will hurt the plot. He’s calling Liam a jerk b/c he knows where his Mom’s heart lies -it’s always easier to badmouth the person you don’t want in the mx. Let’s not forget he is only 18. Grown women blame the other woman when their husbands cheat and more often than not it’s not even their fault. Let’s cut the 18 year old some slack here LOL
But a gift coming from KATE (of all people) who need to be HUGE and DRAMATIC. There is no flair, no pizzaz, no nothing about a ball from a regular season. I don’t care where you’re from or what team you love. Now if Kate would’ve handed him over a ball from a world series team that would have made more sense. In all truth – considering the absurd things we endure with this show they could’ve trumped that gift up a bit or at least made the "ball" fit the "occassion (i.e. a world series ball.)"

I agree – that whole outfit was a hot mess yesterday. The only thing that made up for it were her scenes with Ciara – PRICELESS!!!
RIDIC you would parade into a room with a ball from a "regular old season." I’m a die hard Knicks fan but I don’t know that I’d be that impressed with a ball signed by a team with no title to show for it. JMO
