It was so cute – not nearly as cheesy as I thought it would be (and the kids were great too.) Wonder how weird it would have been to shoot this AFTER they became on screen siblings… They shot this before Greg joined DOOL.
But yea – you totally see Sami in Ali when she plays another role. But as I said, it’s probably Ali that creeps into Sami (and her other roles.) I read somewhere that Joan Collins became Alexis and Alexis became Joan. I guess when you are a strong personality and so is your role you just become ONE.
I’m so thankful I waited hours on line to meet Ali a few years back. Well worth it – and I got 2 autographs to prove it.
And i’ll watch the movie purely b/c of that.
I think she’s very smart (as is her business manager/publicist/agent) b/c they are really putting her out there. Let’s face it – with daytime being as vulnerable as it is AND so many soap stars leaving for "better" things only to come back – I think it’s smart for her to MILK IT so to speak…
The good thing is she’s very talented and versatile…. She plays a villianess on a soap – hosts a reality show – and is a health nut and employs that in a way (health books/Shape magazine etc.) She also took something VERY personal to her (her weight) and worked on it in a good way and put it out there to share for others (and profit obviously.)
Kudos to Ali – she’s a mom and has mouths to feed. And her husband seems like a stand up guy who is VERY comfortable being the man behind the woman. I applaud her. At least she is famous for something vs. all these other tragic fools who are famous for the all the wrong reasons (hey Amanda Bynes I’m talking to you!!!)
If EJ says Stefano employed Beranrdi and they dig for the reason it will come up (or it could come up) that Bernardi was taking that evidence to protect Will…
Is all my mother had to do was LOOK at me and I would freeze. I’m 34 and haven’t lived at home since I was 24 years old but I’m still sorta kinda afraid of my mother LOL….
The foundation starts when they are young – there HAS to be consequences from the beginning. You can’t just decide to parent your children when it looks like it is necessary – and with JJ being away that’s the case here.
I agree – parents give kids too much rights and too much say so. What happened to the age old "I’m the parent you’re the child." I heard that a lot LOL… My personal favorite is getting OTHERS to parent your kid – "If you don’t stop i’m going to have the man yell at you." Hey, yell at your own damn kid lady LOL…
JJ is a mess – Jen needs to strip away everything that is important, get him a part time job (he can work he’s 16) and closely monitor his day to day. Stop chasing Daniel and be a mom already!!!
I want this storyline to go away. In all reality they are wrapped up in their own storyline. If you remove Will from the equation you can take Sonny n Gabi with him. The baby can be tied to the family when she ages. I don’t think they’d invest in a Gabi recast – I just don’t feel the role is important enough to the show.
also cringe when 2 females who are not gay IRL kiss on screen? Just curious… NOT saying you’re homophobic – just curious.
I feel like they are actors and they are playing a part. I don’t think it would be any more uncomfortable then a married woman playing the part of a slut on a show and having to kiss and be intimate with various types of men. JMO. I cannot handle a re cast Will – not with the delicacy (spelling?) that he brings to this role. I’d rather see him be written out and a chance for him to return. I’m TOTALLY okay with Camilla leaving LOL….
And I can handle a Chad recast – i love Casey D. but Chad is so NON influential on the show that i’d be okay with it. Even if he is a cutie
With less screen time LOL…. There will be no use for her if Chandler leaves and Will is written out (which I hope for vs. a recast- HE IS WILL TO ME.)
I agree tho – Sonny is more parent then she is for sure….

Btw – I think Brady is the new Austin (Austin Peck’s Austin anyway.) It’s his turn to be the Salem clown. We are the only ones who love them together – well at least on this board anyway…. I too love that they are LOVEY DOVEY together but BEWARE for the rest of Salem
It’s how I always imagined their power couple status would be. If both Judi and Melissa show up to work and go "ugh – do i REALLY have to say this?!?" Well Melissa probably says it and then Judi probaly goes "Hey Lauren I think I have your script." LOL LOL
Funny part is – Will is so worried about being like his mom and is ultimately turning out just like his dad…. WHINEY and INSECURE… I was never much of a Lucas fan and found him to be quite spineless. Will is more like Lucas then Sami for sure. Sami would NEVER push her love away – complete opposite of anything she has ever done.
