TopazParticipant
I don’t think John ever really remembered his childhood or teen years.
TopazParticipantFor years we had no idea who John Black really was. Then it was revealed that Stefano’s wife had an affair, which resulted in the birth of John Black. Stefano’s wife gave the baby to her sister to raise. This sister was married to an Alamain, and the baby was named Forrest Alamain, which made John an adopted brother to Lawrence Alamain (technically they were cousins). John’s biological father was never revealed at that time. For a long time, John Black was considered to be a half-brother to Tony DiMera. When history was changed to the Ireland story, John became a half-brother to Stefano.
TopazParticipantGina Gallego was on an episode of Seinfeld in 1992 "The Suicide". She played the girlfriend of one of Jerry’s neighbors. After a suicide attempt by Jerry’s neighbor landed him in a coma, Jerry began a relationship with his girlfriend.
TopazParticipantThat was Dr. Rolf (with no accent) on the Seinfeld episode. Bart was a much younger man.
TopazParticipantI just discovered this show a couple of weeks ago. I read that Adam does work out and is careful about what he eats off-camera. Here’s a link to The Travel Channel: http://www.travelchannel.com/TV_Shows/Man_V_Food/About_The_Show/Meet_Adam_Richman
My only problem with the show is all those restaurants that serve huge portions… very few people could eat even half of one serving. Just seems like a waste of good food.
TopazParticipantLoved the matching purple ties that Brady and Philip wore.
TopazParticipantIt was indeed French Stewart. Third Rock From The Sun ran from 1996-2001. He is soooo funny.
TopazParticipantBetty usually has the funniest lines on the show, too. Her timing and delivery are perfect.
TopazParticipantValerie played Barbara Cooper on "One Day At A Time" 1975-1984. Joe Jonas (Jonas Brothers) will play her son on an upcoming episode. Jane Leeves was the "virgin" on a few episodes of Seinfeld. Wendie Malik also made a guest appearance on Seinfeld (didn’t almost everyone?). She played a chiropractor with a dated hairdo. By the way, Valerie is 50 and Jane and Wendie are both 49. Looking good, ladies.
TopazParticipantI have the old-fashioned call waiting: If you call me and get a busy signal, wait a bit and call me back.
TopazParticipantIf, and when, Sami finds out about EJ being the mastermind behind the kidnapping, everyone else should find out also. Then who would want to be with EJ? No sane woman would want him, knowing what an evil thing he had done.
TopazParticipantJessica Tuck (Madeline), was in an episode of "Seinfeld" that originally aired January 19, 1995. The episode was titled "The Label Maker". She played George’s girlfriend, who lived in an apartment with a male roommate (which made George jealous).
TopazParticipantHere’s Chloe and Brady singing "Sixteen Going On Seventeen" in 2001:
TopazParticipantOnce LOST stopped filming its episodes, everyone was out of work. Some of the actors and actresses have found new jobs on other TV shows, so you probably did see a familiar face on another show. The actor who portrayed "Jacob" on LOST (Mark Pellegrino) also portrayed "Lucifer" on Supernatural this past season. Elizabeth Mitchell–"Juliet" on LOST–is also "Erica" on "V". Dominic Monaghan ("Simon" on FlashForward) also was "Charlie" on LOST. "Charlie" died a couple of seasons ago on LOST, but he was in the final episode.
TopazParticipantI’ve watched every episode from the beginning, and it would take a book to try and explain what happened over the past six seasons. However, I strongly disagree that everyone died in the plane crash in the first episode. Everything that happened on the island, actually happened. At the end of the show, the characters are in a sort of purgatory, waiting to "cross over into the light". When Jack entered the church and met his dad in a private room, his dad confirmed to him that he (Jack) was dead. He also told Jack that the other passengers on the plane were also dead–some had died before Jack did, and some much later on. Because these people had such a strong bond from being on the island together, they all needed to reunite in order to "cross over". The "flash sideways" scenes were just wishful thinking on the part of the characters–what they wished their lives had been like if there had been no plane crash. An example: Jack had a son in the "flash sideways" because he would have liked to have had a son, but in real life he did not have a son. No viewers of the show will ever agree 100% about everything that happened, but it was fun while it lasted.
