they’re just overdoing it. I can see putting some characters in blue (the shades are beautiful) or purple, but everyone?????

You’re right. In fact, my DH doesn’t understand why the docs always spoke to me and not to him. Even the vets, when the dogs were in for procedures, spoke to me.
But, in this case, EJ is the guy who has to be in control, is the "only parent Johnny needs." In the face of adversity, he becomes a useless lump of protoplasm, mad at the world.
It seems as though Sami is the only one even TRYING to hold it together. She is the one doing the talking, explaining to Johnny while EJ just stands in the background looking, well, I don’t know what. His eyes are cast down and his mouth is taut. He is useless in this situation and I hope he realizes he cannot be an effective parent if he caves in every adverse situation.
I read Prevuze for years, until this latest thing with not being able to capture the feed. I’m going to miss the humor, the sarcasm. This is really sad.
but I don’t see this as EJ loving Samantha Gene. This isn’t love. This is about control. This is about possession. If he can’t own her, then he is miserable and will "get back" at her. How can anyone call that love?

about preemption. Here, we got about 20 minutes of the show, then the press conference. So there was no break in continuity. The next day, the correct show for that date was aired.
about the acting. And you are right about EJ returning to himself…he’s already told Sami they are back to her not seeing the kids.
What I’m seeing is pure jealousy on his part. The looks EJ is giving Sami every time she turns to Rafe would kill if they could, while he has no one to lean on.
the gun. We heard the shot. We saw the blood. But we DIDN’T see the actual shot. IIRC, they panned in on Sami’s face..her eyes were closed tight.
