     had Theo written as autistic. He was extremely uncomfortable with what Abby told him to do. Wouldn’t look Chad in the eye. I thought it was pretty close to being on the spectrum…as an adult, not a child.

    Why would his captors let him keep his watch? If you want to drive someone crazy, time deprivation is a sure way to do it.

     She wanted to get him bottled water so he would leave. If she just poured him a glass, he’d still be there, trying to find some other way to get the pills into the vial.
